Delicious
I’m working my way through all of the moth cocktail range and this one didn’t disappoint. Quite strong but tasty.

Great but leaky
The taste was amazing but 3 of the cans had leaked and were very sticky.

Just like a freshly poured cocktail
These cocktail cans came in a box of 6. They were packaged well so the cans were all intact and protected. The cans are quite stylish, they have a textured exterior which is a bit unusual but certainly makes them stand out from other cans. The recommendation is to drink these cold, so I tried one at room temperature, and one that had been chilled and served with ice. I would agree that it tasted so much crisper and fresher when cold and was much more refreshing to drink. The taste is not too sweet and has a slight zing from the grapefruit which is very pleasant. It doesn't need to be mixed with anything else so you can simply pour it straight from the can and it tastes exactly like a cocktail you would pay a fortune for at a bar, but without the hassle of having to go out for it. From a price point, it is slightly high, however if you break it down to £3.33 per drink, it doesn't seem so bad compared to the price you would pay if you were getting a drink at a bar. Overall, these cocktails are very tasty and an easy solution to getting good quality cocktails in your own home. I would recommend them.

incredibly smooth and well balanced cocktail
a lot of people are going to see the word tequila in this product description and be transported back to wincing with disgust having necked a shot or two in some overcrowded nightclub, i know i was. but this is a refined and well thought out tequila drink. it's one that's easily sippable and you can take your time to enjoy. the grapefruit is the bold flavour taking up most of the stage but again it's nicely balanced with the other ingredients so it's not that bitter taste that makes you purse your lips when you eat grapefruit normally. sadly I found out grapefruit juice is a no-no for mixing with some medications i take so having an enjoyable experience trying out a can I have to forgo the rest and share them with our friends who come visit instead of keeping them for myself. the price feels quite high but the cost per drink for such a high alcohol content is not too bad and certainly way cheaper than a drink like this would cost at a bar. will be looking to try some of their other non-grapefruit based cocktails as this was a decent one.

Not too shabby, actually
As a general rule I have not been impressed by the pre-mixed cocktail cans I have tried. Some are basically just flavoured water with a bit of alcohol made from fermented corn syrup. Many are somewhat insipid because they are keeping the alcohol content down to 5%, or keeping the calories content down, to market it as something you can have without "overdoing it", but the taste is insipid. Very few of them seem to be made from branded spirits, which means in my mind they can hardly even be called cocktails. Fortunately these are something of a different beast. At 10% abv yes they pack a punch but also taste decent with it. I had actually never come across the "Paloma" cocktail before. The base is tequila, in this case of the "Enemigo" brand. Tequila is something I don't really like the taste of much neat, but it's OK in cocktails like here, where it is accompanied by flavours of grapefruit and lime. It has a really quite attractive cloudy pink colour in the glass. Not the nicest cocktail I've ever had since tequila is not my personal favourite (and my only reason for not giving 5 stars), but as pre-mixed cocktails in tins go, this is a pretty good one.

Oh. My. Goodness!
This Paloma in a can is unbelievably good. Not just because it's a perfect balance of tequila, pink grapefruit juice, and lime but because it genuinely tastes as good as the Palomas I make at home. And I don't say this lightly - I make excellent tequila cocktails! It's also incredibly affordable, with each can working out to just £3.33. Far better value than ordering a cocktail at your local bar. I'm also impressed by the ABV. Most ready to drink (RTD) cocktails seem to be more mixer and flavouring than alcohol, so it's very refreshing (no pun intended) that these are made with really good ingredients, which includes a decent amount of alcohol. This is not some wishy-washy approximation of a cocktail - this is the real deal. Yum! With the gloriously warm weather we're currently having, I'm thoroughly enjoying sitting out in the garden after work, slowly sipping a Paloma while listening to the evening birdsong. It's pretty heavenly. Life is good, and it's made even better with these cocktails from Moth, heheh! I am definitely a fan now, and will be buying more - especially to share with friends at our monthly gaming get-togethers. Highly recommended!

Absolutely brilliant
Sometimes a brand and product come along and you think wow, these guys have got something here. This is the case with this set of Paloma cocktails from MOTH. The six cans come in a lovely cardboard box and each can has a premium feel to it, you can tell that some thought has been put into the design concept. On to the cocktail itself. Billed as containing tequila, grapefruit zest, lime and soda, the first note that hit me was the grapefruit. Now, I didn’t go for fancy garnishes. I’d chilled the cans in the fridge and then poured over ice. After the initial tangy hit from the grapefruit, I started detecting other flavours and decided that this cocktail was actually really good. Really refreshing, ideal for summer evenings. No fuss, just pretty much instant cocktail bliss. Whilst they are really refreshing and I think that Moth have nailed it with the flavour, they are full strength – so take your time, sit back and enjoy the experience. Good value at £20 (at time of review).
