I have a 2001 s10 ls three door 4.3 6cyl. is this the same exact part for both ends of the drive shaft or are they separate parts?

It should. The bearing cap size should be 1.125" x1.125" with a length of around 2.555" either way. The only difference MIGHT be are the type of clips it'll take, the inside c-clips or the external snap lock rings. So, honestly I think it would fit either place, but to be safe just find the one that says it will fit where you need it to. Thanks!

Looks like both will work, the 108 is greasable, the 136 appears to not be.

Will this fit a 1987 chevy V10 rear drive shaft?

I'm not sure if it will fit a V10 or not. The spacing between the lock rings as described in the item description is incorrect. The spacing is wider than stated and therefore doesn't fit correctly.
