Pro: * safe...the case sets against your head between the hot barrel to prevent burns * gives a nice sausage/barrel curl * heats up super fast * has a long cord so you can easily position yourself to see what you are doing * easy to use with just a minimal learning curve * price is ok Con: I really dislike the location of the buttons to control the barrel spin. Very inconvenient. I have long hair. Past the bra strap. If you have long hair you need to manage the amount of hair you try to curl at one time. Use smaller sections or you will get an error because it is just too much for the barrel. This doesnt necessarily save you time. As you get more experienced with it that might be the case. But not when you are new to it. Where it has been handy for me is the back of my head. Yikes, when you are trying to roll 22" hair. This helped. You need to take a small section of hair, lay it across the top, make sure the hair is smooth and you set it down so the tail of the hair is parallel to the tool and lays gently downward before pressing the spin button. If you don't, you may end up with a fahoofled mess and need to start it over. You don't need to slide the hair into the barrel. You can lay it across the U shaped part in the center. Just be sure to position the rest of the strand the way I described earlier. Tangles don't really matter. The spinning stops and it angrily beeps at you and you simply slide the hair out of the chamber. There is nothing to tangle into the hair and catch it. If you want to leave your hair wrapped longer than the beep alert you can. It is just a convenient counter alert for you. This gives a final result of a beachy wave curl after you fuss with the finished barrel curls. Your final result will be determined by your curling products and style. I would say a curl setting product would be helpful. Quick heat set curls don't have the best staying power like a wet overnight set would. My overall opinion is that it is handy and does a decent job. For most people it probably isn't faster than a curling iron. It does help if you are trying to get a barrel wrap instead of a flat wrap and struggle with it. It is also nice for getting the back of the head if you have long hair. I am sure over time the creative souls will find lots of tricks and tips for interesting ways to style with it.

Takes a little practice to get it. Has a switch for which way you want the curl to go. Doesn’t take long to heat up. Once you understand how to use it, it doesn’t take long to curl. I have short, thin hair. Hair doesn’t get tangled in it. It beeps if the hair didn’t get wrapped around properly. It’s nice to use to do quick curls. Curls last all day. No issues with it. Mostly easy to use.

Absolutely love the ease of this curling iron. Perfect for someone who has never done their hair before (me).

Both me and my daughter have very long and straight hair. It’s the best option for the price point and hair texture. The next option was a Dyson at 600 bucks. Which I’ll never do. Worth the purchase. The price was affordable. She is 7 and figured out how to use it and it’s guarded to avoid burns. I dislike my wand for the time consumption and my daughter cannot use it. Old school curling irons cannot handle my texture
