Scent smells fine, a bit like lemon grass. And worked well for my 2 year old Beagle.

As an experienced dog owner, I love this product. I have never really had to deal with marking beyond puppyhood, until now. My Bowie, due to leg issues, would benefit from holding off being fixed until he grew more. I usually have pets fixed around 6 months old. Well, all of a sudden Bowie's balls drop, and his training goes out the damn window. He was marking anything that stood still long enough for him to aim, yes he even peed on a cat. No matter the amount of walks, extra potty times, he seemed to relish his new game of hide and go mark. I took him to the vet, and $208 later, discovered, that in fact, Bowie was a hormonal twit. I would say this is a game changer for me and my dog. I sprayed areas where he started marking 2x a day everyday and truth be told never had any accident since then. Still spraying everyday up to this date.
