When applying my foundation, it’s not very soft. I feel like it doesn’t spread the makeup as my last sponge. I also feel as if it absorbs more of my makeup than left on my skin. I was trying to save a little money, but I guess I’ll be going back to my original sponge from Ulta.Updat: I love it. I found out that I wasn’t soaking it in water long enough and allowing it to expand. Good buy!

I've been doing makeup for about 6 years now, so I've experimented with every "makeup sponge" under the sun. These are awesome! They blend beautifully, clean easily, and I love being able to have a variety of colors. The only downfall is the softness. They are a bit harder than the average Beauty Blender, but I massaged lotion on them after cleaning and it seems to have helped.

They seem to be holding up well and do the job. I've been using the same one for several weeks now and it doesn't show any wear. Of course the make-up stains them a little, but I'm using them to blend my make-up so that's expected. I would buy them again but it may be awhile since they're holding up nicely.

Pretty impressive. I thought I'd give these a try since I was tired of paying $20 for one beauty blender at the other beauty stefora. These are quite a bit larger, feel more silcone/rubbery and don't hold as much water so they also don't absorb as much product and aren't as spongy, but overall do a good job and save $$$. In my opinion, since I don't wear much make up it's worth the money savings, but if you do wear foundation I think it would end up a bit cakey looking since the sponge doesn't absorb much. Just my thoughts though.

Years later and they are still my favorite beauty sponges.

I really love using these and they are cute too :)FYI- for people who don't know when using these you are supposed to wet them until they expand and then squeeze the water out and then apply your foundation ... It really helps! And easier to put your foundation on plus looks better 😉

I love these things and used one for applying foundation and the others for stencil painting.They are excellent for stenciling because they hold a lot of paint and easy to use without paint seeping under stencil edges.

These sponges are great! I got tired of shelling out 20 bucks for a new sponge that doesn't work for very long so I figured i'd try these out. They get HUGE when they're wet and it makes it super fast to apply your foundation. They are definitely denser then the beauty blenders but they don't suck up as much product. I definitely recommend!
