Tunze3152.000 Osmolator

Ok. So I have refused to buy one for nearly ten years since having a reef aquarium. I’ve made DIY auto top up units over the years for a few quid and had no issues.This time though I have a new massive system and spent absolute fortunes, so figured being tight on this, one of the most important things really wouldn’t be smart.The unit is great. Easy to set up and comes with some safety features to prevent over filling, alerts you when the RO reservoir is empty and maintains the salinity perfectly.The only downside I’ve encountered is the pump is noisy once activated. A small annoyance for me as the aquarium is in my living room.Let’s face it the price is way over the top for what it actually is. Tunze think they are the Gucci of aquatics in my experience so what can you do...

Initially put off buying as I could’ve find any info about how far the float has to drop before triggering the pump.I’m happy to report that it’s only needs to drop about 2mm, making it ideal for small aquariums.Easy to put together, set up and works perfectly.Has a useful safety timer so can’t overfill the tank if the float gets stuck.Can’t get the pump to sit upright in the bucket because of the kinked tubing and cable.

Such a great device. Completely changed the way I can manage my tank and my holidays :-)It's on test since last three weeks and it's perfect for my 20 liters open tank, the water level fluctuation is really negligible.I'm now going on holidays for three weeks I trust this little toy will do a great job for me!

Occasionally stops working but easily fixed, just take the power cord out and put it back in again, a bit annoying though

Mixed reef tank

The pump is by far the loudest thing in my reef tank but it does fit into a 25L barrel. Auto top up works fine and comes on a few times a day. Cannot understand how such a small pump can make such a noise and for the cost this is not acceptable.

Great and reliable bit of kit a must for any Marine aquarium owner. Faultless and at the price I paid a great bargain.

Worked well for 2 weeks and just floods every time now waste of money

Well all the information I have looked at was correct. I've been using for 2 weeks now and what a benefit not filling tank daily manually. Little pricey but worth every penny. Nice work tunze

C'est le 20ème osmolateur que j'achète. J'ai testé plusieurs marques, et aucun ne tenait plus d'1 an. J'hésitais à acheter le TUNZE au vu de son prix, mais j'aurai du l'acheter bien avant ! Cela fait maintenant plusieurs mois que je l'ai, et aucun soucis avec ! Il fonctionne très bien et est très simple à installer.Je recommande.

Before purchase i read that it was loud. Maybe it takes some time before it starts to rattle and hum but so far its really silent.
