I have a wall-mounted surge protector behind my computer desk that has two USB ports on the front of it. The desk has a non-removable back. Plugging in a conventional straight-out-facing USB cable would have been a nightmare, let alone doing so repeatedly, and may have damaged such a cable. Faced with this problem, I specifically went looking for a right-angle USB extension cord - and I found these, which did not disappoint. The construction of these cables is solid and sturdy. The photos on the product page are an excellent representation of what you get. True to what I was looking for, they fit right in the tough-to-reach spot behind my desk that I was hoping to put them in, leaving two USB charging ports readily accessible. They are very short (less than a foot in length), but for just making USB ports in a cramped place accessible, they are more than adequate. For my application, it might actually have been less convenient if they were longer, because then the ends would be harder to find. The fact that these come in a variety pack, two facing left and two facing right, is handy in that it makes sure you can't mistakenly order ones that are all the wrong direction; but part of me wishes they came in a set that all faced right. That would allow for USB extensions off of a standard ATX motherboard, pointing down. That said, if you order the left/right set, two USBs pointing down is really all you can fit on the average motherboard anyway. I can't provide a thorough test of the data transfer capabilities of these cables, but I have confirmed that they do seem to work for data transfer and don't seem to slow down copying photos from my phone to my computer. Would order again, would recommend to friends. Convenient and reasonably priced. I can't believe these aren't available everywhere.

I love that these helped my laptop take up less desktop space! The only problem that I had was that some of my devices wouldn't work with some of the adapters but then they would work with a different device.

It fit and works.

I purchased this product to use on the back of a keystone usb port for a wall jack. It is too large to work for that application so if that's what you want to use it for don't waste your money. However, it does function properly.
