It fits the original piece of equipment

Puts out the juice
I use it on my BD lawnmower, the original having gone down hill over the years. One of these and another 3.5Ah battery lasts for the lawn, hedge trimming and still has juice left over. Haven't had it long enough to say anything about longevity.
