I work with kid. They LOVE this. However, there's a caveat: I think if you're buying this for your home as a parent, the excitement is going to be short lived. This is not a toy that a child will play with for more than 5-10 minutes and I believe the excitement comes more from it being a novelty (because it is cool) brought by another person than something a child would continue to enjoy in their home. Also, while mine has endured for a few months (longer than I would have anticipated, given the age/population I work with), it requires supervision for them to not bend it and careful teaching on how to get it to collapse (and/or teaching them they need to ask for help if they can't do it themselves). I would not describe it as durable. It also requires some teaching for them to be able to roll it up and down their arms which is pretty cool both visually an sensory wise and all of the kids I've worked with love. I've also found that adults really enjoy it as well. It would be a fun little desk gadget or conversation starter and adults would be better suited to keep it nice.

Bought this for a gift exchange at work - gift needed to be under a certain gift amount. It was stolen the maximum number of times and all the party goers took turns playing with it. Very satisfying toy for teens and adults!

Very good for kids as young as possible to experiance and be inspired. Vortex math, magnetical wave function to particals and atoms, virtually all of this space time eminates from this geometry. Buy it
