PLATINUMPresident Designed Fountain Pen - Black

The Platinum President is a very good looking pen. I didn't ink it - although someone before me had - but given it's a Platinum I have no reason to doubt the smoothness of the nib.Judging from its name I was expecting a larger pen. Typically Japanese pens seem to be designed for slightly smaller hands and I thought a larger Japanese pen might suit me. But the President is actually not much larger than the excellent Platinum Century 3776. A much bigger price for a not much bigger pen? I couldn't justify it, but you may think otherwise.

I waited ages for this pen from Japan - it arrived today and I'm disappointed - smaller than I expected (only very slightly longer than the 3776 Century) and with a poor ink flow. Too lightweight and without the authority that its name implies. Not good value for money and looks cheap!
