I have used this product daily since it arrived and I'm quite pleased with it. Frozen at minus 7 to10 F degrees it is still malleable and conforms to my knee shape. After applying it, the product still remained cold for 20-30 minutes - the perfect icing time for my needs. It is well constructed and if one follows the instructions printed on the front of the wrap it is easy to use. I like the portability and weight of this item. I bought the 2 pack so I can rotate the wraps as needed. I have found that putting a bath towel under my knee helps keep the condensation from getting my sofa damp.

I bought this for my son after his elbow surgery (they took cartilage from his knee), and it’s been fantastic for helping with swelling and recovery. The wrap design makes it easy to use, it stays cold for a long time, and it fits securely around the knee without slipping. One thing to note: it can get very cold directly on the skin. We had to place a thin pillowcase in between for comfort. Purchased this when I was experiencing frequent knee pain. Stays in place nicely, large enough to fit my fat legs, and the double sided design (one bare plastic, the other a fuzzy texture) allows you to adjust how cold it feels on your skin. The wrap around design also is great. Many other knee ice packs I looked at only focused on the front of the knee. Having the whole knee wrapped provides greater cooling and pain relief. Stays cold for the standard amount of time as all gel based ice packs, about 20 minutes or so. Gets relatively cold in about an hour, but it can take a couple hours to reach peak coldness. Again, pretty standard for gel ice packs.

This ice pack is very clever in design. You can wrap and remove very quickly, but the straps are designed to ensure maximum comfort and security. There are top and bottom long velcro straps and then a Y shaped smaller strap that secures pack even further. Works great!

My mom was recovering from knee surgery. I really wanted to love this, but it was smaller than I thought. I ordered it because it provided ice around the entire knee (top and bottom), but unfortunately it didn’t provide the coolness that was needed for my mother’s needs. It’s too lightweight and doesn’t retain its coolness. I had to return it.

I had total knee replacement surgery and these ice packs were lifesavers. They took about 4 hours to freeze (I keep my freezer at zero degrees F) and stay cold for 30 to 40 minutes. The cold pack over the back of my knee also helps with pain relief. They are flexible after about 5 minutes out of the freezer and they stay secure if I need to stand up - definitely worth the investment!

These ice packs are great! They really fasten securely around your knees. I can get up and walk a little bit and they don’t fall off or anything. I do sometimes have to pull them up a bit, but they do well. I ended up having to wrap a hand towel around the ice pack because it does have some condensation as it thaws on your knee. I was sitting on a leather chair and kept getting it wet. But the hard towel worked fine. I used an old towel, which turned out to be a good thing because it did get somewhat snagged up from all the Velcro. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who’s had a knee replacement or maybe just has bad knees.

I use it as a cold compress and works really well. Since it wraps around with a velcro system, there are no issues with its size unlike those that work like a sleeve. Hoping that the elasticity of the straps last long.

I purchased this knee ice pack a few months ago and love it. It is so easy to use and you don't need to hold it in place. The velcro straps are a game changer. I put the pack in the freezer and I pull it out when cold and apply it to the knee and surrounding areas. The velcro straps are amazing because it keeps the knee pack in place. You can move around and not have to worry about it falling off. Highly recommend this product.

Really happy with quality for knee replacement

This ice pack is great! It's perfect for icing my *entire* knee, compared to other ice packs I have been using. It completely wraps around my entire knee: above, below, sides, and front, held on firmly with the two long velcro straps; and then there's a separate gel section that goes around the back of my knee and holds firm with its own two velcro tabs. It completely surrounds the knee, as tightly as I want (for some compression, in addition to cooling). The gel holds a lot of cold, for a long time. The whole thing has a fuzzy side. so that it's not too cold, and you don't give yourself frostbite, and after a while, you can just switch "inside out" to get the bare plastic side against your skin to keep the cooling going. It's making a big difference for me, compared to other ice packs I've used. I think that's because the cold comes into the knee from all around, ad goes in deeply. (I'm waiting for meniscus surgery, and in the meantime, light tennis, or even a gentle walk, can cause a lot of internal swelling and soreness.)
