excellent cabinet!! super sturdy!! very easy to put together, the company is totally amazing in customer service! great for the price, id only make the drawers a little deeper. i had this put together in about 3 hours after i had gotten everything in its place, instruction book, perfect! mine has this HEAVY cabinet ( i didnt build it) sitting on top of it. it doesnt budge! i am now the proud owner of 4 items from Hostack!! anything breaks, doesnt work? contact them. they WILL fix to your liking!! another thing i love about this company, the color schemes and design of the cabinets. fits PERFECT in my house! love the magnets for the doors, mine aligned with no adjustment needed.

I purchased this piece for my small home office/craft space. I just needed to be able to put everything away and this piece had all the right features. After unboxing, I reviewed the instrucions, which are mostly pictoral and very clear. Laid out the pieces and tried to save my space from all the static laced styrofoam. I did accidentally install one large piece backwards but it was a quick fix. Pay attention to the picture and holes and it isn't a problem. I didn't even swear once! Total assembly time was around 5 hours, alone and I used one phillips ratcheting screwdriver for it all. There was a combination allen key/screwdriver included but that would have been too dificult to use. And using a battery operated one might be too much as the screws are short and you don't want to overtighten any of them. The box looked really rough from shipping, but the piece was very well protected inside, especially the corners so I had zero damage. There is a page at the end of the book for adjusting the hinges for varying types of alignment, so I didn't need to scour the internet for info. I've never installed this type so I was a little intimidated at first. Overall it's not an expensive piece. chipboard mostly but it is well thought out, very sturdy and looks nice. Oh, and the drawers open more than halfway which is better than most other pieces I have seen. Thank you to the engineer that wrote the instructions!! Well done!

This sideboard buffet is absolutely beautiful and functional! The design is sleek and modern, with plenty of storage space for dishes, serving pieces, and décor. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the finish looks even better in person. The drawers and doors open smoothly, and it adds such a classy touch to my dining area. Perfect for entertaining or everyday use—definitely worth the purchase!

The good: This piece is solid, looks great, and the pieces all fit together well. It has lots of storage, and is *exactly* what we were looking for. Compared with other put-together furniture I've purchased, this is definitely in the top 5% in terms of quality. The instructions for assembly are clear and easy to follow. The instructions have no words--just pictures--but the pictures are detailed and have little "exploded" sections with extra details to help you be sure that the various parts are positioned correctly. I'd say the instructions are also in the top 5% of put-together furniture I've purchased. There are LOTS of steps, but if you follow them in order and systematically, you can finish the assembly. I did about 90% of it myself, with extra hands helping on a few of the steps. Overall, it took about four hours to complete the assembly--over about a two week period. See below for why. It's possible for one person to assmble this, but there are several steps where it really helps to have two. This is *especially* true with installing the doors, which turned out to be the most challenging part of the install. Customer service is responsive and helpful. See below under the "Not Good" heading for why I needed customer service. The not-so-good. The doors are *really* hard to attach. The hinges are high-quality and adjustable, but that's exactly what makes them hard to install. Even with one person to hold the door steady while the other person handled the screw driver, it took us over an hour to get all three doors installed. That's 25% of the total assembly time on the three doors. The Not Good. The shipment arrived with two of "Part 2" and NONE of "Part 3." These are the main left and right side panels on the cabinet. This makes it impossible to assemble, as they are not interchangeable. I went to the manufacturer's website--linked on the my Amazon order--but found zero information and no response to the message I posted there. However, there's ALSO a link on the Amazon order, "report a problem with this order." That one worked, although it only *relays* messages back and forth between the seller and the customer. The seller also appears to be in China, so the relays come with a 24 hour delay. In any case, the first thing they asked for was a photograph of the duplicate part. I'd partially assembled the piece, so I couldn't send them a side-by-side photograph, but they accepted the photographs sent, one of the duplicate part and the other of the partially assembled cabinet. Initially, they said they would arrange with the warehouse to send me the correct part, but eventually they said they were sending an entirely new box, with all the parts, to us. Sure enough, about ten days after I first contacted them, the new box arrived. Of course, I would have preferred having the correct parts in the first place, but at least they corrected their error and, given that they are in China, in a reasonably timely manner. The main downside besides the delay is that now we've got all the *extra* parts to dispose of. They aren't usable since we we don't have the essential right-side panel to assemble a second item. Bottom Line. I'd purchase this again if I needed another of these (I don't). Given the high quality customer service, I'd certainly purchase from this vendor again.

This cabinet is beautiful! There was a delay in shipping due to winter weather and according to FedEx tracking it was out for delivery for 5 days and the packaging was damaged, the cabinet itself only had minor chips that once put together are not seen. They did a wonderful job packing it together with amble protection offered a small refund even though I am keeping it. The instructions were simple and easy to understand and the assembly was very easy, 1 person could do it but 2 makes it easier. I would order this and from this company again.

I ordered this in Ash Grey (why this isn't a requirement for the reviews I have no idea because it was really hard to tell who ordered what colors in the reviews) a little greyer than I thought from the photos I saw but it fits still and it's pretty. I live in an 1840s log cabin so was hoping to match the walls a little more but it's okay. Anyhow, I was looking for a solution to hold all of our shoes by the door and this was what I came up with. Works perfectly! The right hand side shelf moves up to give enough room for my husband's boots and my boots fit just fine in the standard shelves. For the most part it is very sturdy! I wish it had self closing doors and drawers (but hoe much can you really ask for at this price) I'm happy with the price, not crazy about the shipping amount though, that was a hard pill to swallow in this day and age. Putting it together sucked really, I put it together by myself and I'd say it probably took about 5 hours all together. I had to take a few breaks because my back was hurting but it's all easy enough that anyone can do it. I reccomend it!

This is a really cute side bar and definitely adds extra storage. However, the amount of time it took to assemble is outrageous. I assemble a lot of furniture as I have several rental properties that I’m often purchasing items like this for, and I’ve never had trouble like I did with this piece. There are actual steps missing from the instructions so multiple times had to disassemble to go back. also, you need two people at multiple times to hold different pieces and get it assembled, so make sure you have an able-bodied person with you when you’re putting it together.
