Functions exactly as advertised! Save yourself a TON of frustration and read the manual! Solid build quality, connectivity is smooth, price is fantastic! Display port is a curse of 90% of the population! I worked in Telecommunications for over 20 years, and never have I ever chose Display port over HDMI. There's a reason HDMI dominates the market. That said, you can pick up a bargain PC that's hamstrung with Display port, and using these adapters, you've got connectivity to almost any flat panel TV or monitor made in the last 15 years. Display port has legitimate uses, to be sure, but thanks to these, it's not your concern. Very easy to use as long as you follow the directions.

Plug & Use... Worked on Ubuntu/Linux... can on problem with size adding two side by side on a desktop but the are vertical (not horizontal.. I could see how horizontal could be too wide on a laptop if the USB slots are close to each other.. but an extender could fix that problem or USB cord with a plug wire that extends beyond the other USB plug cuasing the problem.. Pros Plug & play Easy to use low cost solution multi monitor from HDMI only monitor Cons Width might be a problem on laptops with USB ports that are side by side (solution could be to use USB Port with a wire that extends bast it)

Purchased this to adapt my desktop display port into an HDMI port. The KVM switch I purchased only had an HDMI port and I needed to connect my desktop and laptop each to two monitors. This worked perfectly and didn’t require any tech experience. A win in my book :) This piece is also very sturdy and feels well made.

Finally dp to hdmi that works. So far so good. I used these in my Lenovo usb-c gen 2 dock both display port out to my HDMI monitors. No issues at all. Resolution was great. But my monitors aren’t high end. But no issues just had to reboot and worked as it should.

Fit to HDMI was a bit tight as was the DisplayPort. Nothing deleterious but just a note.

These adapters arrived safely and timely. They work fine.

Worked well. Easy fit, slid in with ease.

My setup is monitor--HDMI cable--this adapter--nvidia GPU. this adapter is not working for 4k resolution. It can also not work at 2560x1440 and can only support slightly lower resolution than this. Maybe it is the reason my hdmi cable is too long (10ft). I'm not sure.
