Parafilm M PM992 All Purpose Laboratory Film,Semi-Transparent

I was familiar with Parafilm from my student days in Chemistry labs. I started hearing from people that Parafilm had uses outside of the lab as well. Folks are using it to seal perfume bottles, decant, and travel sprays to prevent or reduce perfume evaporation. There is a bit of a learning curve to using this stuff. It is stretchy, but if you pull too much, it will break. That's why I gave it 4 stars, even though the roll I received was in great shape. Very happy to have it!

The price was right and it showed up quickly. It's parafilm. If you've never used it, it works as well as everyone says it does. If you think you might benefit from it, do yourself a favor and try some. It's good stuff.

Good product , it’s thick so you can stretch it a lot and form it to top and bottom of the dish to help seal and keep dish attached . This roll goes a long way a must have for serious mycology work with plates .

Love this product as I’ve always used it but this is 3rd time we have gotten a roll with beat up box and a slight “crease” in the roll itself. Inside flap on box appears like it’s been stepped on a couple of times black marks on inside of box. Again great product but needs to be shipped in better packaging. Update. Have worked with this film for over a week now and it’s given me nothing but issues. Don’t order this item from Amazon, the reviews are very true. Old stock and will crack while wraps plates.

Parafilm is ideal for grafting. Easy to work with and strong enough to stay put. Easy to store and doesn't deteriorate in storage. It is just stretchy enough for grafting and yet still stays put on the graft.
