Spot the... Mouse on the Move: 1

I have bought several of these books for my twin daughters. They became interested in them starting from 3 years. They are currently 6 and they still like this type of books, although they are clearly growing too old for them by now. If you child is within 3-4 years range -- go ahead and by this book. For children over 4yo I also strongly recommend these two:"Where's The Penguin? (Buster Activity)" and "Where's the Unicorn?: A Magical Search-and-Find Book"

We have bought several of these books over the years, our kids never get bored of them even when they know where everything is!

The third in the series we've had, this search-and-find book follows the same format as the previous.Readers are encouraged to find a mouse on each page and search for objects on a theme for each double page spread. Snippets of fact are included throughout, this time on various transports - the Underground, bicycle lanes, spaghetti junctions, the airport, etc.Each page has a theme, though the objects you search for are rather random - a road sign, traffic cone, helicopter, police car... and an apple on one page! Makes it fun anyway, my son didn't look up for the whole span of the book - around 15 minutes.At the end there are extra things to find, more facts about transport, and extra activities to do at home, crafty ones (making a boat), physical ones (hide and seek with a toy), and literacy-based (finding letters out and about). It all helps.Illustrations are attractive and bright. The theme is a popular one and the series is a great precursor to books for older children such as Where's Wally.Good for ages 2-6. Not one for bedtime as a child is usually too tired for this sort of concentration-based task, but one for daytime quiet times, nursery and a couple of friends together.
