Review: HDMI wall plates can be tricky if they're up high. For me, the biggest problem was connector strain from the HDMI hanging off the wall plate. Sometimes it would fall out, other times it would just wear out the sides on the back side of the keystone. If you've got a keystone holding a length of cable (about 15 ft straight down in my case, with no supports and no practical way to add any, this thing delivers. Pull your HDMI, tape the end solidly to this, install the jack, presto: working cable. It also ends up with substantially less depth behind the plate than a regular HDMI keystone if you're working in an insulated wall.

Good product works well with what I needed it for

We tried an ordinary HDMI keystone, but the when the HDMI cable was attached, there was not enough room in the box to fasten the strap. When we used this product, we were able to manipulate the HDMI cable in the box so that the strap could be fastened properly. Good problem solver!
