Don't buy clear finish, really not worth. May be stainer mixed will work, but not sure.

Howard's restore is a fabulous product. Saves having to repaint timber furniture and cupboards. The restore brings it up like new great value and easy to apply

After being recommended this by a friend. I just had to try it. The speakers cabinets in the photos were made in 1980, and needed to be restored. Enter Restor a Finish, a product that works wonders on old dried out veneer or real timber. I used a micro fibre cloth and a couple of dabs, then rubbed it into the grain and watched Restor a Finish do its magic. It took approximately 10 minutes to do the entire speaker and WOW what a result. Rub on then rub off....It is that easy..... Do yourself a favour and give this a go. There is a reason why the product has been around since 1969. Highly Recommended.

It does what it's advertised to go, don't expect a miracle but it does hide minor blemishes and restores the shine on dull pieces but don't expect it to hide deep gouges or scratches that catches the nail. Overall, I recommend it.

if you have anything to do with wood, you need to read up on linseed oil, a miracle product for wood. Can be used to feed the wood and protect it. Rub for scrub it on with a stiff brush. let sit until dry, sometimes a few days, then paint or use. Can be used to seal any outside wood, including decks, but do not spray. Scrub into pores, let dry. Can be used on cutting boards, furniture or any other product.

Consistently one of the best products I’ve ever used and I have refurbished tons of furniture. You can take a piece of garbage and make it look like something wonderful I’ve been using it for years. The clear is one of the most amazing because it just brings out the original wood But if you’ve got a dark stained piece, of course you’re gonna use the darker colors.
