It was a worthwhile buy
I bought a Kindle reader several years ago; I lost the charger so it lost power. After I purchased another one, I wanted to give the earlier Kindle reader I purchased to a friend. The charger I ordered from Amazon fired the old Kindle reader up, charging it to full capacity. I gifted my friend both the reader and the charger. She appreciated both of them. It was a great purchase.

Did not last.
This is not very well made. I bought this in July to have a longer charge cord for my kindle fire. After 5 months of use (intermittent) the charging connector at the end of the cord came loose and now this charger is unusable. See attached pictures.

Love this cord!
The original charging cord that comes with the Kindle Fire is short and in time became broken. I got this cord and the length is great. Much longer than the original. The attached adapter is also a nice. Turns out the large end fits my Kindle Fire and the small end fits my Motorola Android phone. Perfect! The only negative thing I have to say is the attaching cord for the smaller adapter is thin rubber and mine broke.

Works great! My sons charging cord stopped working for his kids fire 10 tablet and this cord charges great! I read in one of the reviews that it charges slowly but his doesn’t seem to charge at a slower rate.
