Narrow. Not Sticky Enough.
1) These heel cushions are narrower than the shoe they are supposed to go into. The shoe is indeed worn by a child, so the width should not be an issue, but it is. You would think that they would make the width narrower so that it can be cut down to size, but it is not the case. As a result, there is some part of the heel that directly covers the raised winged portion of these heel cushions. This in turn affects comfort.2) There are protective plastic pieces that go over the bottom of these heel cushions. They are meant to ensure that dust and dirt does not stick to the underside of these heel cushions. However, once you remove the protective plastic pieces, you will find that they are not that sticky at all. The level of stickiness will prevent some movement, but over time, re-aligning it would be necessary, especially if the child is active and jumps around a lot.

Heel Inserts
I Love this!!! Adhesion is not the best it comes off from time to time but i still able to stick it back. Reliefs some pain on my heel, i stand most of my 8 hours shift and this is really a must have. I like how its not that thick so my feet doesnt come off from shoes while walking

Don't stick
I got these to help with my child's feet issues and they were comfortable for her, but didn't adhere at all to the inside of her shoe so it was really frustrating to get her shoes on and off. They are also pretty narrow, even for a kid's shoe. If you had some additional adhesive they might be ok, but it kind of defeats the purpose if you have to do that yourself.

Stayed in place, but made my foot hurt more
I have chronic planters fasciitis. I bought these in hopes of trying to alleviate some of the pain from a long day on my feet. Since they are a gel, I felt like my foot was sliding on the gel throughout the day. And after about 4 hours, I had to take them out. My foot definitely wasn't feeling any better. There is a little bit of height to them, and I think that was also adding to the discomfort of my foot wanting to slide around.

Slight cushion for heels
Wearing inserts in my shoes every day, I thought it might be nice to add a little extra cushion in the heel. While these worked OK, for about the first five minutes of walking, as I continued on a 45 minute walk, they became more and more noticeable to my heels. I had to take them out and throw them in my pocket. I'm not sure if I will try them again, but I may with a different pair of shoes. For reference, I was wearing Hoka tennis shoes with an orthotic insert. The height adjustment made my heels slip in and out of the back of my shoes, making it somewhat difficult to keep a good pace. For those who don't wear inserts already, they may be a really good option for extra cushion.

Lots of comfort
I have these mules that I’ve started wearing again but they were too flat that my heels began to hurt. So I placed these gel heel cushions and wow, they have made this experience so comfortable now. The ache in my heel is all but gone and the gel feels so good when walking. It has also helped with my lower back as the impact of walking is not as bad anymore. They fit perfect in any shoe with no need to trim.

Cushiony and sticky
Super sticky - so much so that they collect lots of lint and other things, so they get sort of gross. They fit well in my tennies and don't add a lot of bulk. They provide good cushion support for my painful heels. May try to wash them if they get too dirty.
