Well made and there are no area where the bees can sneak inside. No too bulky or hot and great netting over the face area. Good material heft and dependability. The zipper works properly and range of motion is wonderful. Simple to get on and off. Does its job perfectly.

I ordered this bee suit, not because I’m a beekeeper, but because I’m highly allergic to different kinds of wasps and things like that. This bee suit allows me to be able to work in higher grass and area that would be considered unsafe for me with my allergies.I ordered a medium, and it’s very long in the torso with shorter legs, but it fits ok.It has a helmet that zips on, and very long gloves made out of leather and canvas. The suit is a light weight, and very functional.I think it’s a very good investment not only for beekeepers, but for people like me who anre highly allergic to bee, wasps, and other creatures, are otherwise would not be able to work in their yard.

True to size, i'm 5' and this fits great. Gloves are very soft and protective. Suit closes up everywhere needed to keep the stinging down to hopefully ZERO!! If you have allergies or even get bad reactions to stings, this suit will protect you while gardening or whatever you are working on outdoors. My sister is a beekeeper and she recommended this one to me.

I have to say I wasn't sure if it was going to keep me from being stung or not. You need to check all the seams because i did have one spot by the head that wasnt sewn there was a hole. That could have been really bad for me had i not found it. I also put tape over the zipper part on the hood. It worked extremely well, I did put on think layers under it to be safe because I had to uncover a yellow jacket nest that was buried under a pile of wood in order to get the nest. I went out at night and they still swarmed me. I had phone flashlight for light and I looked at my arm and it had a bunch of them all over me. I did what I had to do and got away from it. I never got stung once thank goodness for this suit.

Read to end, you need safety glassesWe had a very large bald face hornet nest that grew in our tree. These dudes are mean as hell. I made a few runs at cutting the branch and was stung several times. That brought me to Amazon...I was skeptical with the $29 price tag. 6 foot, 220- I purchased 3LX (just to be safe on the sizing). It was bigger than I needed but was happy with it being bulky.I threw on a hoodie and sweat pants (more coverage as I was not sold on the "sting proof material"). I wore a hat to keep the suit face screen away from the skin.Headed to the tree to test it out...These hornets were not happy to see me... Nervous as hell I grabbed my bag and put it over the hive, this really made them mad. They swarmed me and started to attack. I quickly gained a lot of confidence in this $30 outfit. I was covered with them and didn't get stung once. The hive was quickly defeated!Leasons learned...This product is really well made for $30 and works! Did I need the extra under layers? I don't know but I wouldn't try again without them.Cons, wear safety glasses.... I learned that these hornets can shoot their venom and have the ability to target eyes.... They got me, it burned pretty bad.Buy this product with confidence if you're headed into a situation that you might get stung, it 100% works and is well worth the money. WEAR SAFETY GLASSES!

I got this bee suit today and I wore it to put some kind of wasp killer powder (not sure how useful this powder is) along the entrance to the wasp nest. I am eager to write this review as I was stung a few times before. Bottom line: it protected me, although I saw so many wasps flying around (I guess they must have some ways of communication). Please note, I also wore normal autumn clothes inside. As to the quality of the suit, I would say it is decent, at least for occassional home use. The zippers are smooth and look strong, the gloves seem like very good quality. You need to get one which should be about 4"+ longer than your height. I would 100% recommend this bee suit to my friends for home use.
