Imagine a simple product with that price and yet, you will have to purchase the HDMI cable separately. And the worst part is, they don't tell you about it, you'll find out after the purchase!!! Update: The seller responded to my comment and offered HDMI cable free of charge with no obligations which happens to be incompatible with my camera but that's on me, and this is my honest review. I've been searching for a quality monitor that has video capture for a long time until I found this product, which is a game changer because simply, what monitor is better than your smart phone? The concept is super innovative and very cost effect comparing with other monitors that provide similar features. I would strongly recommend this product, just don't forget to buy the HDMI cable that suits your camera.

The device works really well, but is still heafy on a camera with the phone. Please keep that in mind. Some things they could improve. a) when you start the app up you have to choose the right SeeMo and in my case I have to scroll. I which there would be an app, update with settings where you can set the default or it would somehow detect the device automatically. b) I decided not to use the hot show mount as I do not want the endanger that that gets damaged. It seems others have no issue with that. My cage comes with a hotshow mount, but it is angeled, so its unusable. I could screw in one that is paralllel to the camera and use that. However I decided to use a Nato rail and bought a clamp similar to the original one that has a natoral. That I realy like a lot as it has a lever that makes putting it on and off real easy and secure. c) There are no cables with this device and I think they should have an option to chose the right one for your camera and it should be included in the package. d) I have a shockproof case on my iPhone that works really well but pushes a bit the boundary of the width of the clamp. Luckily I also have a string on the camera, and as I like to use this outdoors on a kayak, I will attach it to the cage. I wish there would be some loop so one could also attach this with a string if you use the coldshoe mount. This is the reason I went for the Nato rail. Maybe they should have the option to use either a cold shoe mount or nato rail

I brought this product to be able to take my live streaming of lawn bowls to the next level. Combined with Switcher Studio and iPhone this product allows me to use a top-end camera in my streaming and bring it to my switcher. This is a game-changer. Will be looking for the higher-end quality camera as soon as brought for testing first.

These item is cheaply made. I tried it on my cell phone and two different ipads and it did not recognize it. There was a delay on getting my refund fund back. I have to call Amazon about this seller. It is up to you if you still want to purchase this item. But, don't let me be the one to tell you, I TOLD YOU SO! Keep your money and buy something else.

(IPhone 13 Pro Max) As a content creator for primarily social media, the less steps from my camera to my phone, the better. Ideally to be future proof I would like to see it export 4k30 at minimum however I understand the limitation of delivering video via lightning cable. Regardless this has already saved me a lot of time as a recorder directly to my phone as well as an additional monitor when shooting myself. All of the great features are present that you would find on a dedicated monitor: false color, focus peaking, LUT overlays (which are recordable). I highly recommend it. I would like to say that some of the instructions in the manual are vague and/or missing. When I first purchased it I had issues with importing LUTs, No volume control in app (sound would play live through phone speaker) and no manual rotation control of the app. I found to import LUTs you can hook your phone to the computer and within ITunes find the Accsoon app in the phone and just dump the lut into the main folder and it loads perfectly. Easy enough. It seems a recent update automatically muted the phones audio while app is open but does not mute the phone otherwise. When I leave the app.l to double check the gallery I don't have to fidget with the volume and when I go back in app it's muted again. I also spoke with a rep that said the manual orientation control is coming in a near-future update. All in all, shy of being limited to 1080/60fps recording, this little guy is a beast and I highly recommend it. I have yet to try the live streaming option yet, as I don't do much live streaming. I have seen great reviews on that feature, though *update* I have upgraded to iphone 15 Pro Max and using the appropriate cable. I have in fact tried several. It works as intended and then after a short inconsistent amount of time the feed will entirely freeze. It has sadly become unusable until a potential firmware and app update.
