our original Roku remote was dying a horrible death. Button would stick or not work at all. I was forced to break down an buy a new one. I did not want to spend over $20 but the rechargeable battery was a selling point for me. The back-lit feature is actually pretty cool. I've not use the "talk to me Hey Roku" mode yet.Pros:- back-lit is cool- super easy to setup- super easy to identify my TV so power and volume buttons work- solid build quality- solid tactile and quality feel- customizable hot pick button (wish it had more than three slots)Cons:- so far nothing. I worry about long term use, with the battery last long after many recharge cycles- like all Roku remotes, I wish the hot-keys could be set to our own apps. My son asked me to order this for him because he was constantly having to change batteries in his original remote. It was definitely worth it. I'm pretty sure we have already saved the difference by being able to recharge this instead of buying batteries. It functions as well as if not better than the original remote, control channels, volume control, apps, picture quality, etc. with ease. The remote is basically the same size and fit as the original, but better as it is rechargeable and the buttons are easier to push

This remote works straightforwardly with RoKu devices and has a motion activated backlight which is great when watching in a dark room. The programmable rocket button also has turned out to be very convenient. It's more expensive than the lighted off-brand remotes but the extra features (voice search, backlight, and programmable buton) are worth it, at least in my case.

The Voice Remote Pro is a nice upgrade over the original that came with my 4K Roku stick. It connected right away and programmed to my TV for volume control with no hastle. It feels a lot sturdier than the original too. Hands-free voice control is convenient when we need it, and the backlight is useful for a button-presser like me! My favorite feature is NO MORE BATTERIES! The original remote chewed through AAA’s like nobodies business, but with the USB charging on the Pro this thing will pay for itself.The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the Find My Remote feature doesn’t work, giving me an error message that the remote isn’t compatible when I try it. I haven’t called support yet, but a new product shouldn’t need an immediate call to tech support when you’ve followed the installation procedures and done basic troubleshooting.Overall, I highly recommend this remote over the original and plan to replace my other Roku remotes with this model in the near future.

I really like the hands free voice control feature and that it lights up when I pick it up. The USB recharging feature saves me from having to buy batteries. I do wish the 4 buttons on the bottom were programmable. I do have Netflix and Amazon Prime, but not Disney or Apple TV, so those two buttons are of no use to me. The lost remote feature is a good idea but the sounds it makes are hard for me to hear and there's no volume setting for it that I can find.

I love this remote! This is everything the original remote should have been! - The basic Roku remote's design is really bad. Everything is so dark from the button colors to the lettering and it's hard to see in low light. But not only are all the buttons backlit on this remote, you can use voice control to find it by going, "Hey Roku - Locate my remote" and it will actually start beeping! Also, it charges with USB-C so no batteries to corrode. Also, I love the voice control.
