Mini Single Tube Miniature Derringer 2mm Pinfire Model with Bullet Shell for Collection

Lots of fun, reloading is a must if you want to shoot it a lot, but the size makes it difficult. I used ground up match heads and scraped off phosphorous from the strips with a razor blade. I used my fingers to grab the pins and place them in the hole, but tweezers are a must for most people. You can get the projectile in the form of bearing balls in bulk. Includes a ram rod you can use to press the projectile into the case, but be gentle, you can set it off but it's not as sensitive as you'd think. $60 is worth it if you like unique toys. Comes with a brush for cleaning the barrel, you will need it if using match tips, as they produce a lot of carbon mixed with other crap. The action feels smooth, no play in the trigger, but it's a bit heavy. Great for fidgeting after some sanding, especially around wood.

Seems well made,nice Rosewood grips. Initially I didn;t think it worked--my mistake,I had not fully cocked the hammer. Comes with 10 primed shells and 2mm balls. You must make your own ammo and there are videos showing you how to do this. For something so small it is powerful--not a toy!

in every way a novelty, but arguably a good value for a functional model of this type of early, obsolete firearm; there are better crafted examples out there but all of them are at least three times the price point; the pistol is made in China and arrived in about a week; all stainless steel with tiny wood grips; the few miniature tack welds on the barrel and frame are descent, but the barrel is slightly misaligned on the one I received; packaging was very different from what was in the ad, but I wanted the pistol, not the box; it came with everything advertised, including ten 2mm pinfire cartridges loaded with primer, and a quantity of 2mm balls you will have to load yourself, probably due to import restrictions; I recommend carefully unboxing the thing over a towel since the packaging was effective, but a little unpredictable; they included a small card with a polishing cloth and the little balls were packed inside there - and spilled out over the counter; the action is a little stiff but functional; some light oil and working of the action will help; the value here is it's functional novelty and that it's a relatable conversation starter for people who are not (yet) firearms enthusiasts; definitely NOT recommended as a personal defense weapon because it's a single shot and reload times are considerable :)

As stated, in the video, product does not come in wooden box as advertised. The plastic container it comes in is cheaply made, wouldn't close after I opened it.The ammo are all blanks ( for those wondering ). To top it all off, I tried taking the best picture I could to show the rust that's beginning to form on the trigger and the top. Not worth the money. Go get your pinfire elsewhere!

I got this for my dad who is a gun collector. I knew that it was something that he didn't have but was unsure of what he would think about it. HE LOVED IT

This is the third one of these I purchased. Two of them came with the wooden box and the other came in a plastic case. They are all awesome. I gave one to my brother as a gift and he loves it as well. I purchased ammo on a different website that came already preloaded and this little pistol works great with that ammo.

Esta muy buena ya la probé y funciona 100/100 y creo que la calidad de construcción debería mejorar, pero y al parecer no se ve como en la foto también no viene con la caja de madera con la que sale en la foto y la mía esta un poco mal construida y también no sería mal añadir más munición pero esta muy buena y espero el vendedor les esté comentario y que tenga en cuenta lo que escribí pero recomiendo que la compren es una muy buena inversión y muy divertido dispararla :)
