I already had a big paint tray and a 12 inch roller, but didn’t like having to wash it out, which takes ages, or having flakes of dried paint finding their way into the fresh paint. These bags are a little pricey, but with a lot of decorating planned I felt it was worth a try.I did struggle to get the bag fitted, and worried that I got the wrong size, but of course it needs to be a close fit, and it fitted perfectly.No problems using it to paint a lot of emulsion, and great to avoid pouring so much watery paint down the drain. I hope they can be recycled though.

Good, solid liner, have not managed to tear one yet, but they are a bit of a tight fit. Just be careful fitting the liner round the top, I give mine a bit of a stretch before putting them in and that works fine.

These paint bags are fantastic for both ease of cleanup and for keeping the paint fresh if you need to keep the paint for a bit longer.Firstly with the price of these and the semi regular amount if DIY I do the ability to just throw the whole bag away does save time over cleaning the paint trays as I have done in the past.Secondly if you have a second coat to do on another day ypu can effeviely close the bag through the string to keep the paint fresh. I have left the roller in there many times before and generally it comes out fine the next day.The bags have yet to split on me and fit the standard shuttle well with a stretch.These are also useful if you have various different paints on the go at once where you can close one bag and start another.Recommend the smaller ones for the kettle paiting too.
