The 2 pack Pro lights have metal housings and metal stakes. The control module housing and power adapter are plastic. The instructions state that the power adapter is not waterproof and needs an enclosure. Because the power adapter is built into the plug housing and the house plug side is, by definition, not waterproof, needing an enclosure for protection, this is not a surprise. The code required in-use housing on an outdoor plug meets this enclosure requirement. The rest of the system, including lights, wiring and the control module, is water resistant; fine for rain but not for prolonged submersion in water.The lights are bright with 2 alternate sets of LEDs: an outside ring of 12 LEDs for RGBW (16 million colors) and an inside group of 9 LEDs for Warm White (WW) light. LEDs can be dimmed between 1% and 100%. Although the WW LEDs can be dimmed over the full range, the RGBW lights seem to go off color below 30%. Light color and brightness selection is done with a phone app. Using 3 mode selection icons, the static color mode allows control of all lamps with the same single color, or individual lamp colors. It also allows lamps to be turned on or off individually. The 8 preprogrammed scenes provide different active light sequencing with varying colors. The scene light colors and speed can be changed but not the light action that sequences the lights.The suggested phone app is the Smart Life app. We haven't had success with that app with other devices so we used the Feit Electric app which always connects to smart devices and true to form, immediately connected to the light controller. We had no trouble controlling the lights with the Feit Electric app.

The lights are bright and have plenty of color changes to choose from. The spike is strong, and the light housing is sturdy. The setup was pretty easy. It worked great in the yard for a long while. But The rain made it risky to leave it where it was. Even though it is waterproof, it is unsafe in a puddle of water. I had to move them to the garden, and they are working well there.

For 2 weeks we have tried to get these to work. They have continuously gone offline. Worked 1 night, but could not get them to consistently attach to the 2.4 WiFi, even moving the extender around to get the best signal. Very disappointing-

Great color but app if very finicky and doesn’t work the way it should consistently

I have a few of these Ligency light sets. This is the only one I have that's a 2 light set, so I was wondering what the major difference was outside of the higher cost. I found out, These are 1200 Lum, nice and bright, but of course they can be dimmed if too bright. With only 2 lights I'm able to light up a bay window with full coverage. The smaller lights in the 4 light kit are bright but not as bright as these, and there's a big difference in the light head size as well, these are twice the size but still small enough to hide if needed. So I definitely like these lights better for a full lighted wall or big tree. I love the full color selections that can be made, like the warm light and dimming controls to name a few. Connection to the network and app was a breeze and in fact I added another brand of lights to this Smart Life app. Best of all I have a sprinkler controller on the same app. So that's all the good news, but after working with a couple apps and a few different devices I've found that there are other apps that will control the lights as well and I'm still seeing what options I have. The main reason I'm checking is, once I have a color I like ( a shade of yellow for example) I have found no way to copy that color and set another sting of lights on the same color so It takes some patience to match colors. It's not because of the lights, it's a function on the app that's missing. For the lights themselves, they're great, well built, bright colors/White and easy to set up.

These spot lights work very well with both RGB and White light. I love that there is an independent white led, not just using RGB smushed together. This makes the lighting effect match almost perfectly with every other outdoor light that I have when color isn't being used. The stakes are metal, which is fantastic as well. The only real gripe here, which in my opinion is worth a star, is that they have rust on the connectors brand new in the box. This is just odd to me, and although the lights seemed to work fine over time, I always wonder if that will shorten the life somehow, or cause issues. It also just looks weird for a brand new product. Other than that, these spot lights are simply awesome in performance, lighting and coloring. Very happy with their outputs.

Ordered the first set and after a short period the light ceased working. Returned it and ordered a replacement. A month later same result
