These cables are garbage. If all you want them for is charging an iPhone, that may be OK. However, if you want these for something like Apple Car Play in your car for Google Maps or other Music Apps, forget it. The connection keeps going in and out constantly. I bought four of these and all four failed, two of them failed immediately. The fourth one I simply threw out in the garbage, because that's what these are.
