Nice little switch
Works great for powering my HomeAssistant and Wireless AP. Speeds as advertised and I have two of them in a mini-rack for my homelab. Plug and play, small, efficient, good value.

Reliable PoE Switch with Great Performance!
The TP-Link LS108GP is a fantastic little switch. Setup was truly plug-and-play—just connect the cables and it works instantly. All 8 ports deliver fast gigabit speeds, and the PoE function powers my IP cameras and access points with no issues at all. It runs cool and quietly, and the metal housing feels very sturdy and built to last. Perfect for anyone who needs a simple, reliable, and affordable PoE switch. Highly recommended for home or small office networks!

Good, basic PoE
Bought this to run a few PoE cameras. Didn't want to go with a big cisco switch - power consumption and noise. This works great, PoE is reliable on it

Simple, cost-effective, just works.
Work seamlessly with no set up required. Made sure to turn off long range so I could get full power for my 3 POE cameras.

Nice Item for the Great Price
The TP-Link LS108GP 8-Port Ethernet Switch has been a great addition to my setup. It was easy to set up—just plug and play—and all of my devices connected instantly without any hassle. The performance has been excellent, with speeds that are noticeably faster and more reliable than wireless. Streaming, gaming, and large file transfers are all smoother and more consistent. Build quality feels solid, and having multiple ports makes it simple to expand my wired network. Overall, it’s a dependable switch that delivers exactly what I needed.

I'm happy with this product.
After moving my router to a more central location in the house, I found that my old 8-port, PoE switch, located in the attic, had one port that wasn't working. Switching port connections didn't help. A little on-line research showed that the switch was rated functional down to 10 degrees F. Temps in my attic occasionally reach minus 20, but as mentioned, the switch had worked well for 10 yrs +. Searching for a switch rated to 20 below meant spending BIG bucks for a military grade unit. I bought this unit, drilled a 2" diameter hole in the ceiling of the closet of my office, stuffed all the cables through a 2" grommet, and stuffed cotton balls in the excess space. I caulked around the top in the attic and replaced about 10" of insulation atop it. The unit's power cable was stuffed up through the grommet and was long enough to reach a standard electrical outlet in the attic. Mounting the unit on a wall below the grommet was simple. It's silent, but I may have paid more for it than needed due to my ignorance of what was needed. It has switches for various configurations - I left those in default position. All is working well. All cables connectivity is good. Compared to the old, basic switch I replaced, build quality seems to be excellent. Based on the description of this switch, it may be more appropriate for a small business application. At this time, I'm connecting 8 surveillance cameras, but plan on adding one or two more, and wanted extra ports for that. As mentioned, it's a bit pricier than I may have needed, but I now have a fully functional switch, and the project to replace is over.

Terrific product at a great price!
I've been using TP-Link routers, switches, and wireless access points for several years now, and have always been very satisfied with their ease of setup & configuration, as well as the price. This particular switch was an "8 port", POE ("power over Ethernet"), unit, which was used to supply network access and power to three office PCs and 3 VOIP ("voice over internet protocol") telephones. Setup was literally "plug-n-play", and it took no more than a few minutes to have everything "up & running"! The switch arrived within a few days of being ordered, and I'd definitely buy from this vendor again!

I does what it is supposed to very well.
Only port 1 and port 2 can be an uplink port. Only port 1 and port 1 have the option to switch down to 100 Mbps max with extended PoE range. That seems an odd design choice but I suppose there might be some circumstance where the uplink device is far away PoE powered. One I figured that out it is powering my cameras all with much better connection than the wifi setup I was using for the cameras before. I should have strung the cat 6 for the cameras a long time ago.

As you of now, no issues whatsoever. Only complaint I have is the fan its a bit loud even with light load. Will probably replace it soon with a noctua fan. But overall I am happy with the 2.5gb connections

Excellent, fast switch, integrates perfectly with my existing Omada Network setup. Provisioning was easy through my hardware controller. It reports all of the devices effectively, and has been solid since install. I am considering a second one for my home network in the near future

perfectly does the job, tried some poe splitters and 12 v power supply initially....but poe cameras need 48v, not 12....this switch smartly takes care of poe and non poe devices
