You DO get what you pay for.
These are fantastic. When applied properly, ,(to clean prepped skin, and smoothing them out while applying) they stick extremely well and stay on for at least 10 days with very little peeling at the edges. They are waterproof and I've not had any issues with them. I love the plastic cgm covers bc it has greatly reduced if not eliminated having to replace a cgm after simply bumping into something. Something to note: Instead of warm water and soap/washcloth, a combination of Baby oil & rubbing alcohol (or similar ingredient commercially available adhesive removers) is especially helpful for people with sensitive skin, for removing the adhesive bc it is so strong. It is a great value for the price bc unlike cheap versions, it actually does what it is supposed to and I use FAR less patches than with cheap knock offs. Many cheap patches dont stick well, arent actually waterproof, don't have plastic bump guards, and cause one to go through many patches in a week. These are more expensive, but ckst less in the long run bc they really ARE as pictured and described, and almost always last me the entire sensor life. 9.5/10 Will keep buying.

These work and are a good price.
Yeah so idk what people are doing wrong that these don't work for them unless the black ones are different or something. I had the freestyle libre 3 used this same brand patch worked absolutely great. In the pool, hot tub, shower l, bath tub yeas sometimes they would fray some along the edges but not that much. 95% or more of the patch would always be still adhered tightly after 15 days patches worked great and kept my sensor in place. I work in the shipyard outside weather it is 10° or 100° never had a single patch fail ever. Now I have a dexcom g7 got my oval shaped cover that fits the sensor perfectly and the patch is slightly larger than the one for the round freestyle libre 3 sensor. At the end of the day yesterday these are very much like a waterproof bandaid and nothing all that special but they work and work well. I used to rip my sensor out all the time at work home have the fall out after a hot shower but not since I started using this patch. I take a shower then clean my arm with 91% alcohol two times once to ensure it is clean a second time just for good measure to ensure no body oils or anything is present. I wave the patch around at my arm to make sure it is completely air dried then I put in the sensor the over patch that comes with the dexcom g7 and then this patch and they work fantastic. If you got a round hard cover and a smaller patch you got the one for the libre maybe you messed up maybe they packaged it wrong who knows. But the thing looks just like it does in the picture so... The one for the libre 3+ fits and works great and so far the one for the dexcom g7 is giving me the same results. I had used well over 50 of these patches and Amazon has the best price on them and they are cheap so idk what people complaining about them not being worth it are talking about. I put the hard sensor cover one top of the patch for the libre and the other one is in my arm. Now with that being said I don't keep my arm submerged in water for hrs and hrs I put my arms up on a float in the pool and kick back and relax, but so submerge it and swim too. I don't keep in under the water for an hr in the tub or hot tub. You have to have realistic expectations and have a little common sense. Also if you don't like the rough edges and the fact it frays some remember you get what you pay for and you get a hard cover and 20 patches for what $20 or something yeah... I bet all these folks complaining are the same people that buy the dollar store brand bandaids and get all bent out of shape that the don't stick and last like the bandaid brand. Do a test to ensure you skin can handle these. I can not use bandaids of any brand because the glue kills my skin when I remove the bandaid it takes my skin with it and I have welps that burn and itch and cause pain. But so far with these I haven't had an issue at all. I also rotate arms I don't put the sensor and patch on the same arm every time or even two times in a row, maybe that helps too 🤷🏻♂️

Lasts the Full 10 Days!
I had two requirements for this over-patch: it needed to last the full 10 days, and it needed to be gentle on my sensititive skin. This met both requirements. The picture is from Day 9, about 12 hours before I replaced it. You can see that it's a little frayed around the edges, but it's still stuck tight. It was actually a little difficult to remove--I think it would have lasted another day or two easily. After removing it, I noticed my skin was a little puckered under it (from getting it wet in the shower every day), but it didn't tear my skin. Regular latex bandages tend to pull big chunks off, because my skin is very sensitive. I took off one star because it does fray a little, and because it's a little hard to put on. I got the first one a little lop-sided, but I think I'll get better with practice. Overall, a very good over-patch that will last for the full durarion of your Dexcom G7 sensor!

Works Great...Would Recommend!
Love these patches and use them over my Dexcom G-7, they also fit Stelo patches. However, they do curl a little toward the end of the 15 day period, but they are a nice cover .. especially when the weather is nice and I am wearing short or sleeveless shirts!

Bigger Patches in Diameter than the Colorful Ones!!!!
The regular black patches are a lot bigger in diameter than the regular colorful ones. You see in the picture. I love these patches, but why did this company make the plain patches bigger. I’m not trying to bring attention to my body already being a diabetic. I guess maybe they will take my suggestion to have the patches cut to the same size as the colorful one!!!! Also, I bought a quantity of 20, they should have sent 2 of the plastic covers for the sensor itself. Is this company getting cheap now??? Normally, I’m a regular user and “raved” over them when I found these over patches. Now, I’m not so sure.
