So I will have to say that I really like this tent
So I will have to say that I really like this tent. With a family of 6 who backpack and tent camp this might actually be my favorite tent for me personally and even thinking of picking up one more for 2 of my smaller kids. (Plenty of room for them and their gear packs). Now we have a lot of tents from Nemo to Big Agnes a varied other brands. Every year we try out new ones since our kids are growing and their needs change. So far in the 3 times out in the last 3 weeks we have taken this tent every time. Its almost a perfect replica of a Nemo or REI or BigAgnes tent (minus a few bells and whistles I can do without) but with a much more discounted price tag! The overall quality if very nice. Stitching seems in good order. It handled the rain and wind like a champ. One night kept me and my gear dry and one night kept 2 of my kids and their gear dry.Its light weight for sure, not completely ultralight but close enough for the price. I left my old 10 and 11 carry it fine with their other gear or I split it between the 6 and 8 year old. I think I weighted it at just over 5 lbs with bag and poles.I even spoke with the Seller through email Saturday night about a question and he responded personally very quickly that same night. OUTSTANDING customer service!I will be buying again from this company.

Impressed with this tent even before using it in the wild
Purchased for: Hiking and campingSkill: IntermediateUsed yet: noLikes: Ease of setup, ease of breakdown, door on each broad side of tent, vents with integrated supportsDislikes: None except for not having tested it prior to this review.Purchased this tent for an upcoming back country hiking/camping trip with my brothers. Got it quickly and am also receiving the complimentary sleep pad in about two weeks (Thanks Rugged Mountain!). Today I decided to do a test setup with the tent. The pole assembly is all connected internally with a bungee, which I think makes for a more intuitive assembly. Once I took out the poles from the pole bag, they virtually began assembling themselves. Within minutes I had the tent assembled and upright. The poles didn't seem stressed going into the grommets, and the clips for support could easily be located and attached in the dark. Next I attached the rainfly which has these nice little vents on either end that are propped up by an integrated support (which is about 5" long). I also doubt they will allow rain intrusion by the way they're constructed.Once fully assembled, I entered the tent to see how I fit. I'm 6'0" and I was able to comfortably lay down in it, and when sitting in the center, my head didn't rub on the ceiling. If you had two people in there, there wouldn't be much room left for gear, but I didn't buy this to be my second home. You'd probably have to place your gear at your feet end in order to have room. The interior also has a built-in ceiling hook for hanging whatever you want.Tear-down was simple, too, and I had the tent, poles, stakes, and rainfly back in the packing bag in no time. AND IT EASILY FIT!Only rating this as 4 stars because I have yet to actually use it. Could easily be a 5.

Lightweight and durable
I got this tent for some back county hunting and it performed perfectly. I set it up for the first time in the dark after a 3 mile hike in and was able to set it up in about 15 minutes. I wanted a two man tent that was small so I could keep my gear in the tent with me and this had ample room for me, my pack and my bow. I feel like it would be snug with two people in it but would be doable as long as you kept your gear in the vestibules.I love that it came with the footprint so I did not have to buy separately. I did not get any stakes for the vestibules with my order and was not sure if it was supposed to come with any but that was not a deal breaker for me. I used some sticks on my first trip out to make it work and got a few extra tent spikes next time I was at the store.Would highly recommend this tent and I am looking forward to using it again next year.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!
So I bought this tent because it looked like a great tent for the money a I compared it to every other tent I could find and this one would beat it in every catagory so I figured I couldn’t go wrong with it so I bought one. I set it up the first day I got it and everything looked great except it was missing the footprint and a couple stakes so I tried calling the company which their phone number doesn’t work and then I emailed them twice then Facebook messaged them and then they finally got back to me after 2 weeks and Steve seemed nice and sent me a footprint right away and if that was all there was to the story the tent would have got a 5.So I bought a second tent and gave it to my dad and we went camping a couple weeks ago for the first time with them. Unfortunately we got caught in the rain the very first night and after only a couple minutes of rain, the fly started leaking and shortly after, the floor started seeping in water and we weren’t downhill where rain was rushing towards the tent. The bottom of our blow up pads were soaked as well as our blankets and packs and us since we were getting water from above and below. We find out in the morning that my dads tent had the same problem. We inspected both tents and couldn’t find a single rip, tear, hole or anything just poor craftsmanship and poor seam sealing. So I was still able to return 1 since it was before 30 days but the other I’ve been trying to contact the company for over 2 weeks now. It may sound overkill but I’ve emailed them 6 times, Facebook messaged them 3 times and tried to call them again but their phone still doesn’t seem to work.I highly recommend not wasting your money and time WHEN you encounter problems with this tent and I wonder if any of the other reviewers have actually used this tent and been exposed to the elements.

Great tent, great value
Initial order from amazon came without the footprint. Contacted rugged mountain via their website and they shipped a footprint out right away. Initial setup was easy, encountered no problems, or flaws with manufacture.Pros:Well constructedLightweightEasy setupCons:Weak tent stakes.....youll want to upgrade
