I started taking this to ease anxiety. It does calm me down a lot, but also - it solved sleep issues I was having! I used to oversleep drastically because only a small percentage of my sleep was deep or REM (according to consumer grade sleep tracking devices, which are not entirely reliable, mind). As soon as I started taking the saffron, I returned to sleeping only seven and a half hours a night. The only downside is it usually gives me a mild headache. I'm hoping this will pass as I continue to use it, if not, I might have to switch brands and see if that helps. However, this is just a known side effect of saffron and I won't hold it against the quality of the product, hence the five stars.
