Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been searching for a desk that was big enough to accommodate my two monitors side by side without the use of monitor stands or tilting monitors. And this one fit the bill perfectly. The desktop is spacious enough to allow for my laptop and other supplies I need for work. It's a very large workspace. It fit my needs perfectly. The package itself is extremely heavy. It was packed beautifully and very tight with plenty of foam padding to eliminate excess space. Unfortunately the box was pretty banged up during the shipping process and the corner of the box was pretty much crushed which resulted in the desktop being chipped on the corner and the corner protector shattered inside the box. I contacted the seller to see what could be done because I had already removed it from the box. They were very quick to respond (within a couple hours) and offered to replace the damaged piece but I needed the desk asap so I asked for a discount so I could repair it myself. They were very flexible and offered me a significant discount to do the repairs. Excellent customer service. Ease of assembly: It was very easy and straightforward to put together. The instructions did suggest 2 people to put this together but the only parts I needed assistance were at the very top shelves. It was a breeze, they included both tools needed to complete the build, and they did include an extra of each type of screw just in case. I really liked those added touches. Looks: It is a very nice looking desk all put together and the led lights add a little something extra. I love how it looks. Value for money: I had been searching for similar desks and this was the best buy that I have found. Definitely worth the price. Build quality: The desk is very sturdy and stable.

The product came incredibly fast, and unharmed which is great for how big the box is. The setup went really well. The instructions were clear and precise, and I never felt like I struggled to understand which parts went where and in which direction. The setup took ~2-3 hours as there are a lot of small parts, and screwing everything together with the included wrench can take a while, but all in all I never felt like it was difficult, just time consuming. At the end, the table was built and set up and it looks amazing. The tabletop fits my keyboard and mouse great, and they slip under the monitor tray perfect. The monitor tray holds both of my 28" monitors perfect, with room to spare for my lamp. The side shelved fit my surround sound speakers great, and I love that they are easy to cable manage. Speaking of cable management, the grommets on the left and right work amazing to route cables to your monitors, keyboard, mouse, anything! The table is at a perfect height and sits comfortably even for a 6' guy like myself. I can also say that the durability seems solid, the tabletop is hard with no sagging, as well as the side shelves. For the price, this table was beyond amazing, and I will be recommending this company to anyone who is looking! I highly recommend this for anyone with a lot of things they want to display, and anyone who games/streams and needs space to show off what they are doing on the desk!

That seller is a saint! My first package never showed up because the shipping company vanished with it and never responded. But when I told them what happened, they went above and beyond, sending a replacement within 5 days. They even tracked it and everything to make sure I got my desk. And the desk itself? Oh my god, it's gorgeous and bigger than I thought! All the parts are numbered, and the instructions are super clear. Just a heads-up, if you're building it solo, it'll take ages. So grab a buddy to help you out and save some time. I actually got this for my boyfriend, hoping he'd find it already built, but after two hours, I was only halfway done, and he caught me in the act, lol. Also, make sure you have a screwdriver with an adapter for the screws; the little L-shaped one they give you will wear out pretty fast. I'm beyond happy because his monster PC case fits perfectly on either side of the desk!

I absolutely love this desk! It's well built and very sturdy after assembly. It was very easy to assemble, but you must pat close attention to hole orientation in the assembly pictures. It has lot's of space and shelves, and functions just as I would expect! It is a large desk, but because it is so open it makes my room look bigger. I also like the fact that it is very easy to clean off, as well as clean under or around! I would defitnitely recommend!

Upon purchasing this desk, I received damaged parts #14 (metal strut) and #5 (the wooden desk). The customer service was incredibly caring and understanding, so they sent me replacement parts, although #5 came damaged (again) and #14 arrived separately a few days later... split into two parts and attached by a screw, compromising its structural integrity. I informed their customer service about this inconvenience and they decided to send me a brand new desk to make up for the troubles, and luckily, no parts were damaged this time! Basically, it's a great desk, but there's just a minimal amount of packaging issues combined with the fact that the delivery companies treat the package as if it's a punching bag. I got my desk assembled now and it's really sturdy in comparison to every desk I've had in the past. The dimensions are accurate to what they're advertised as and assembly is very tedious, yet easy. It's entirely possible to build it yourself, as that's what I did. If you're older or have a disability, you'd likely want someone else to help or do the assembly for you. All in all, it's a great product that has very caring customer service. The only thing to be worried about is low-quality singular replacement parts (only if it's damaged) and careless delivery companies. I would recommend this desk if you're not in dire need of a new one!

I’ve had my desk put together for a little over a week now and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. I get very nervous when ordering large priced things from Amazon because it can be hit or miss.. this one is a hit. I’ll just go down the list: Shipping/Packaging: - The shipping was quick and efficient. It arrived at my front door about a week after I ordered it (which is pretty standard for where I am located). The outer packaging was a little beat up, not shown on any of the photos because I forgot. However, the inside pieces were protected by multiple pieces of styrofoam and soft sheet material, so nothing was broken, chipped, or damaged in any way. Installation: I would heavily recommend having two people when installing this desk. It’s large and it’s heavy. Not saying you couldn’t do it with just one person, but having a second would speed up the process and make things a lot easier. The instructions also recommend two people. Instructions: Simple, easy to follow. I would suggest standing behind the desk while you’re putting it together because the instructions are made from that point of view. It helped me to stand behind and put it together that way- especially towards the end. Hardware: Everything I needed was included in this package. Nothing was missing or otherwise damaged/incorrect. Each type of screw that you need is placed in their own, labeled bag so it makes it easier to identify when you need them. All of the pieces of the desk are labeled with little number stickers as well, so you simply match the numbered piece with its proper screw and have at it. Super simple. Stability: So far, nothing has fallen off of the shelves or anything when I’ve accidentally bumped into the corner. It’s not a brick of concrete, however, and does shake if you’re bumping into it or anything like that. I also don’t put much weight on the top because it feels a little flimsy when I do. For example, I’ll put my hands/upper arms near my keyboard to rest, but I wouldn’t press my elbows or anything else on top of it. All in all, I’d recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a large desk with multiple shelves.

I’ve ordered desks off of Amazon before obviously, but they’ve broken or warped pretty quickly, so I ended up wanting to buying something a little more expensive than the one I had. For the price, the desk is really nice, it’s really sturdy, the wood is dense and it holds a decent amount of weight. It took me 4 hours alone, and I was going pretty slow, I’d say it’s easier to knock it out with a second person, but you can do it alone. Only downfall is, it only fits two monitors on the ergonomic shelf. I’m a streamer and a pretty heavy gamer, I also work from home, so having three monitors is like a huge need for me. I’m sure I’ll be able to find a way to fit a third monitor somehow, but not on the ergonomic shelf. Overall, the desk has a BUNCH of space for pretty much whatever you want, and it’s made well. I have a good feeling it’ll last me a long time. Definitely worth it for how long I spent building it lol.

I purchased this desk to replace another desk I had that at the time of purchase was ok but as I figured out what I do and don’t need in a desk, I realized the old desk(s) were just not cutting it. All design with minimal function. I found the Fredde desk on Ikea’s website and it was out of stock in my area so I waited for a restock. It would be JUST my luck that they discontinued the white colorway in the US. I spent several weeks looking for a dupe. Out of no where, this desk pops up on Amazon like it had been here the whole time? How I missed it is beyond me. Anyway, The desk is extremely sturdy, the open design makes it incredibly roomy and comfortable. It is pretty heavy once put together but not unmanageable. I was able to put it together by myself in about 90m to 2hours give or take. I had made a mistake with the shelves which resulted in a half tear down of the top and a small punch through one of the boards that I cleaned up with some wood glue. My advice is to go very slow putting the side shelves in place. Otherwise, following the instructions was extremely easy and basically zero frustration. Normally, my husband puts together all my furniture due to low frustration tolerance but this wasn’t at all a problem. Correcting my mistake was still incredibly easy and doesn’t affect my desk’s appearance at all. The light strip is a really nice touch but if you already have a native ecosystem in place (philips, govee, nanoleaf etc) just use those. Give the strip to your kids or put it in your catio/doggy spa room.
