Works Great…Using one of these will really up your espresso game. If you’re not using something like this you should as part of your espresso prep. Takes out those micro lumps you really don’t see in your grinds allowing the water to flow properly through your portafilter giving you a better shot and better puck. I use it with every shot, just swirl it around your grinds to break up the lumps once you get your grinds into your portafilter, that’s it.If your machine has a metal case this unit has a magnetic handle allowing it to adhere to the side of your espresso machine, and comes with replacement strands should you ever bend one and need to replace. I almost bought some acupuncture needles and went looking for a cork but decided a few bucks was worth the soild aluminum build, time and hassle. Magnet is a nice bonus. Works well, and cleans quick with a rinse. Unscrews easily to replace with extra included needles and keeps my pucks looking nice and neat. for the money, no complaints.

It works, but the magnet could be a touch stronger. It stays secure, but just barely. It feels sturdy and does the job.

The tamper feels high quality. The magnet is reasonably strong. The needles are thin and are held firmly in place. The handle feels premium - solid aluminum. It works very well. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on such a simple tool, this one was a good value.

magnet is good and holds well on the coffee machine, extra needs to replace if needed.. good item for the price
