AC Covers that really work!
Well, I used these covers thru their first winter and the held up just fine. They didn’t blow off, tear, leak or fail. The multiple straps really hold them down tight to the air conditioner. There was no noise coming from them either, while the wind was blowing 50-60 mph outside.A really good purchase.

not exactly as advertised
So this cover is " OK " for the money . It will slow down the wind / draft .So in that sense it is ok . But it is NOT at all like it is described in the amazon description . There is no UV / reflective ( silver ) coating on the inside of the cover as is shown in the picture and is described . In fact , there appears to be no real coating at all . so it is purely a wind breaker and it leaks water readily . I also suspect that this cover will last 1 season at best before it rips . That being said ... it is priced cheap . So I got basically what I paid for . Just not what was advertised . S( side point : I ordered 2 . one came factory vac sealed but was missing the straps that secure it ! So quality assurance is pretty sketchy )

Protects Air Conditioner and Stops Drafts
The Foozet Window Air Conditioner Cover (Small) is a great product. It covers the air conditioner on all sides, including the bottom. The straps hold the cover firmly in place. Because all sides are covered, there are no drafts coming through the air conditioner into the house. The only problem that I had at first was rain coming down the window, getting into the cover, and pooling at the bottom. I solved this problem by placing styrofoam panels between the storm window frame and the air conditioner to keep the rain out. I think that this problem would occur with any type of air conditioner cover that has a bottom section.

Fills with water
I bought this cover last year, so this is the second year of using it. No matter what I do the bottom of the cover fills up with water. I don't want my AC to rust so I'm switching back to a Frost King which has an open bottom. This cover is very durable however the water problem is to severe and I have it installed very tightly with lots of water proof duct tape around the edges.

Good A/C covers for New England winter conditions
These covers are pretty well made, they are a little finicky to install on air conditioners that are on second floor walls, as are 3 of ours. Instead of buying wall mount A/C units (more expensive than window units), I installed all 4 of our window A/C units in framed openings in walls - this works well and makes it much easier to pack foam insulation in very tightly around the A/C units. Adding these covers this year after 3 or 4 years of not using covers has made a significant difference, these have reduced air infiltration by about 90% - additional quilted covers on the inside have gotten most of the rest of the cold air infiltration under control.

Good snug fit.
All 3 items ordered cover the air conditioner front and back. Durable 2 belts with the cover will hold cover in place securely and front cover fits tight and looks nice.
