VISCATA Handmade in Spain. Escala 2.5" Wedge, Soft Ankle-Tie, Closed Toe, Classic Espadrilles Heel

Love these Escala in beige.. (I don't usually do beige!) but wanted them to go with a cream/flecks of beige skirt. Wedges are handy for outside as you don't sink in the grass... love the ties as you can adjust the tightness! and they look good... So comfy underfoot too... Great with capri trousers... i bought a pair in ivory and they look good with these.. Handy through most seasons i would think.. spring summer autumn.Have now bought these in denim.. as beige ones comfy to walk in.. as are the denim.. can dress up or just casual wear.. :-)

Smashing footwear for summer style! I really love the way these look with just about anything. The heel is just enough to give the look an edge but not of any significant height to make them uncomfortable; I only withhold a star because they are not suitable for running for the bus or walking marathons. I find that it is fine to amble around the shops and these will be totally perfect on hols but the fit and the ties make them slip off the back a little and rub just a little so just be sure what purpose you are buying them for....especially as they are a bit on the pricey side.

I'm absolutely delighted with these espadrilles. I've had various other brands over the years but none that have combined good looks with this degree of comfort. The insole is cushioned. Sheer bliss. Plus, this company cares not just for our feet but for the environment too. The shoes come perfectly packaged with this in mind AND you can plant a tree - through this company - somewhere in the world where trees are much needed.

Bought brown size 2.5 for my daughter who is a size 3 but we have found with this style of shoe we both go down a size or half size.She loves them and finds them very comfortable. The brown colour is versatile and will go with a number of outfits. She has taken the shoes InterRailing for evenings, as a shoe with height but also comfortable for hot summer city nights.

Well-made attractive espadrilles - perfect height for day or night wear. Am very pleased with this purchase - a little more expensive than I would normally pay for espadrilles, but they are good quality & have attractive ankle-ties to allow for any potential swollen ankles from the heat. I bought 2 pairs in differing colours.

Once I had the hang of how to wrap the ribbons, these were a great choice. Very comfortable and not too high a heel for steady walking over distance. Loved the colour - coral pink - and well made and presented.

I absolutely love these BUT I found the material inside the shoe right by my big left toe kind of crumpled up a bit so caused discomfort when walking. It was quite sticky too, really frustrating and I ended up having to take them off when dancing the first time I wore them. I've worn them since on holiday (not dancing) and they've been fine but I can still feel that bunched up material. I love the style of them and the rest of the comfort. They look great!

Love the colour - it will go with most things this summer.
