my favorite everyday Ceylon tea
I love this tea, my favorite loose leaf everyday Ceylon tea. I make it hot and cold brew, and it's great with cardamom and cinnamon or in a full chai recipe, or just with sugar and lemon. You can brew it short or long as eight minutes hot and the flavor is always good. There are more complex Ceylon grades that are sometimes more expensive or with broken leaves and have more caffeine, but I think if you want a good OPA you can't beat this- the cold brew is especially good, with bright and clean flavor. The price has been creeping up a little since I started ordering but it's still a good value. But I really hope we don't get hit with tariffs for tea from Sri Lanka, both for the farmers and workers and for those of us who love it.

Tastes Great!
Reasonable price. Tastes just like Lipton Orange Peko Tea which is great. I use a stainless strainer so don't have to deal with unhealthy plastic they say is in those tea bags.

Wonderful
Wonderful tea. Light, fruity taste, not too strong. Very fragrant.

Good value.
You get a lot of tea for the price. It's a bit light in both flavor and caffeine and a long steep time compared to most black teas.Because of this it's great for custom blending with herbal teas in my opinion. As the flavor doesn't overpower others and it's steep time is more flexible and forgiving so herbals can get their chance to develop.Though it's quite good on it's own. That said, don't make my mistake and not have a big enough container for it. Whole leaf's take up a lot more volume then I expected and I ended up needing two containers to keep it all in. Lol.Just tells you how much you are really getting of the stuff.

Far better than big tea bag.
I love iced tea. I drink iced tea daily. Normally I use tea bags from one of the big tea bag manufacturers. Lipton, Salada, Red Rose etc. Usually Lipton. This has always been fine. However, my teen son has recently been learning about microplastics and urged me to stop using tea bags. (Look up tea bags and microplastics.) I reluctantly agreed and started searching for loose orange pekoe or black tea. I happened upon this ^ company on Amazon and the reviews seemed good so I gave it a try. I am so glad I did. This stuff makes some of the best iced tea I've ever had. First off the leaves are whole so its not some ground up mystery powder found in tea bags. Its a dense bag of dried tea leaves! It looks great. Smells delicious. Despite being a long time tea drinker, I am a bit of a tea novice. I've been limited to commercial tea bags, however the difference, to me, is huge. It's hard to describe. I mean, it tastes like the tea I normally drink, but way better. Fresher. Smoother. Less bitter. Without that teabag taste. It's like I can differentiate the different flavors and aromas better. They're more present. It is much better than tea bags. I'll never go back. I purchased one of those big tea brewing cans with all the holes so no microplastics. Pour into a glass pitcher then into a glass cup. I've already made it through most of the bag, I'm ordering another pound of this tea right after I right this review.Long story short, this tea is far better than any teabags I've tried.

Top Shelf Orange Pekoe Tea
Real Orange Pekoe Tea Is Right Here Folks!I am a tea person, period! I grew up drinking Lipton tea, which was and is supposedly still an Orange Pekoe (black) tea. I loved the flavor and aroma of that tea. Over the past two to three decades or so, that flavorful and aromatic tea seemed to disappear as the demand for tea grew exponentially across the world and as laws changed with regard to what a manufacturer could actually put in their bags besides just tea leaves. Today, it's extremely difficult to find that authentic Orange Pekoe flavor. I thought I had come close with Twinnings Ceylon Orange Pekoe. It was still a crap shoot from box to box whether you would get some authentic tasting Orange Pekoe tea or not. Well, they recently repackaged their product, now calling it Ceylon black tea with orange pekoe as its ingredient. Hmmm... I can tell you that it seems more watered down and flavorless to me. So sad!And then comes, into my life, Zarrin's Pure Ceylon Tea (OPA), Special Orange Pekoe Grade A, loose-leaf tea. It's simply amazing! The flavor. The aroma. The memories of decades past sitting with a great cup of tea. I was worried that I'd never find an outstanding, or even good, cup of Orange Pekoe tea ever again. Here it is, though, in this very innocuous-looking box. Thank you, Zarrin. I guess I can die happy now. Lol.

Label as "Orange Pekoe" is a complete misnomer
This is line with many posted comments, especially those with only 1 STAR. Many comments have reported a complete lack of orange notes in the aroma. This tea is labeled as "Pure Ceylon Tea - Special OPA". OPA translates to Orange Pekoe A, though "A" is never defined. "Absent"?The word "orange" doesn't appear anywhere in the packaging, including on the box, there is no picture of an orange on the box, and there is no trace of orange in the tea itself. At very best, it's a black Ceylon tea - nothing more.Real Orange Pekoe (e.g., Bigelow Constant Comment) contains tiny bits of orange rind that impart the orange flavor. This tea is nothing like that !!If you're looking for Orange Pekoe, this Zarrin isn't the one !!

❣️Remarkable Tea
This tea is remarkable and I've been a tea connoisseur for many decades. Simply Delicious! This is the absolute best Ceylon, OPA, loose leaf, black, Orange Pekoe tea I've ever tasted! No bitterness at all & I brew bold. Tea leaves are whole and unbroken, no stems and litter. It is well priced for the quantity and quality!! Happily, it is available for subscribe & save. I have discontinued buying from all other tea suppliers and will be exclusive with this tea supplier. Perfect gift for any tea lover! 3 pinches makes 12 bold cups dripped. A little goes a long way with this fresh fullbodied tea.
