First big boy bed

We bought this bed for our 3 year old. He has been in a toddler bed until now. We pull the trundle out about half way in case he happens to roll off. It is great quality and very sturdy. We bought a 5” mattress for the trundle and it’s the perfect height. The trundle rolls very easily and looks nice when it is pushed all the way under.

Used in a small bed room, perfect for guest. Trundle easy to pull out. Added a board to frame trundle to make the 7” mattress more comfortable
