CHEFAN Felt Letter Tree Freestanding Coconut Tree Alphabet Game Set Props from The Childhood Favorite Book for Early Education

I ordered this felt alphabet set to go along with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. That book was one of my kids’ favorites, so I got this to try with the grandkids. They very much enjoyed sticking the letters on the tree (I didn’t use the included Velcro tabs; the felt sticks well enough for 3 yo to play with.) There is a bit of assembly required because the letters have to be cut out, so keep that in mind. It’s great that the letters can be stored inside the tree (it has a Velcro closure). All in all, this is a great way to practice the upper and lower case alphabet that is engaging, hands-on, and tied in with a classic book. No complaints.

Most toys get played with for 5 minutes, then discarded to the bottom of a bin while the favorite dolly gets all the attention.For our girls, they actually ask to play this. We will get it out and they will go along with the book and play that way. They're 5, but not started kindergarten yet, for reference.The material is still felt, but it is good enough to withstand the way they play, so it's not falling apart or getting torn up or anything.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom was one of my favorite stories growing up so when I saw this to incorporate with the story I was sold. My toddlers love playing with felt pieces/felt boards so I thought this was a perfect addition to their collection.As with most felt products there is assembly required. There was an instruction manual included that had fun songs to sing and activities to do, however it didn't really explain how to put together the felt pieces. You are given 10 big Velcro dots and 60 small Velcro dots. I'm not sure what the big dots were supposed to be used for and just used the small dots.The tree is a little flimsy when standing up and does need support if kids push too hard when putting the pieces on there. I usually put it over a larger water bottle to give it more balance. I do love that all the pieces fit inside the trunk and then trunk Velcro's shut for easy storage.

This has been such a fun little item to add to our school arsenal and include with our chika chika boom boom book! The material is definitely well crafted and will last for years to come (thankfully I'm just a homeschool mom, and only have 2 kiddos to get through with this) but it will definitely last them! Makes something fun to play with after the fact as well so it's fun and educational at the same time! Would definitely recommend!

This CHEFAN felt letter tree is adorable! It brings back memories of reading "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" with my little one. The felt pieces are perfect for small hands, and I love that they can stick to the tree. It's a fun way to learn the alphabet and act out the story!

I ordered this felt letter tree to go along with the classic book. The colors and font aren't an exact match to the book but my 2 and 3 year old understood right away the correlation between the book and the tree "game" we were playing. They honestly had more fun just taking the letters on and off than reading the book. The letters are colorful and durable. They stuck easily to the tree with the velcro dots. The tree itself is sturdy and stands up fairly well. I love that the tree doubles as storage so everything can be neatly packed away. You do have to take some time to initially set everything up as the felt letters need to be snipped out of their frame and velcro dots added to their backs. Overall, this is a great extension to the book but even without the book the felt letters are bright and colorful and fun to play with.

Great toy for any child and especially for my child with ASD. This is a fun & engaging way to use this toy along with the book in Speech-Language Therapy.
