Got the books when they said they would arrive. I am enjoying reading the series.

It should state that both books are shorter versions of the original ones.

This was far better than I had imagined or even hoped it would be. It looks almost brand new. There are 22 disks with 2 long books. I've tried them and they work great. I am so pleased with this item.

Read "The Pillars of the Earth" many years ago and really enjoyed listening to this audio book. The narrator reads very well and gives the story a great atmosphere. I hadn't known of the second book, which plays a century or so later, but am enjoying it too (not finished yet). Definitely worth getting it if you like to dive into another world, and you also get two stories in those 20 CDs. Quite a treat.

This is worth buying and well read by Richard E Grant. For fans of Ken Folletts 'Kingsbridge' series this is a handy abridged version of the first two books in the series. I am listening to it in anticipation of the third book 'Columns of Fire' due to be released in hardbook very soon.

This has been passed around the whole family, everyone loved it.

The second cd did not finish properly so wasn't sure it had come to the end. This was a Christmas gift.
