Great battery life, spiral antenna cuts through brush/trees well, good features
I am a radio nerd and have tried all kinds of FRS radios and by far these are my favorite for short range applications. I took one apart -- there is a ~500mah detachable LiPO battery inside (which a nerd could replace) and a unique spiral antenna that is on the owl/cat's front-facing left year. I've found in practical use the spiral antenna cuts through obstacles and underbrush REALLY well, and can be picked up by its sister radios with identical antennas excellently with zero interference. They work fine with standard straight-antenna FRS/GMRS radios, but there's a little static when you move the antenna around as spiral antenna has a different geometry. Anyhow, each walkie has its own charging cable included, along with a matching color silicone-ish "watchband" and "lanyard". These accessories are kind of cheap and the lanyard won't hold up well to kiddo shenanigans, but you can easily substitute a different lanyard. These are the SMALLEST FRS radios I've found on the market with CTCSS and VOX options as well that aren't garbage like the other watch-radios I've seen. They aren't super powerful but great enough for my needs, half a watt output power... but like I said that spiral gives it great ability to cut through obstacles that normal FRS antennas have trouble with. Also -- 24 hours talk and 72 hours standby??? thats INSANELY HIGH CAPACITY compared to anything but the huge heavy huge-battery walkies out there! You can also leave them plugged in and "on", I leave them around my house plugged in and on so I can always hear when my people page me, even if I forget to carry around my walkie. For those who want to know -- CTCSS lets you set a "code" on your chosen channel that is encoded into each transmission, it doesn't protect others from hearing your transmissions if they have no code set, but you will NOT hear ANY transmissions except from other walkies with that exact same code set. Good way to filter out unwanted "noise" from others and keep your kiddos from getting spooked by strangers. Only a really sharp radio-knowledgeable person could figure out and duplicate your CTCSS code and break in to your transmissions. The FM feature is nice to listen to local stuff -- though its easy to accidentally press the button. While you are in FM mode, any transmissions received will still be heard (it will stop the FM radio to listen to the transmission, then go back to FM radio) and the transmit button still works. You can "LOCK" it once you set it the way you want so your kiddo won't accidentally press any buttons.Only complaint -- the buttons are rather delicate for small fingers, and I've found my young daughter easily got it out of socket so that she could no longer transmit. A simple good PINCH by an adult by the horizontal sides can pop it back into place. May be hackable -- the device is very easy to take apart with a tiny screwdriver.Last word of advice that goes for ALL LiPO batteries to get maximum life -- DON'T let them sit around drained of power for a long time (they will die/lose capacity much earlier). Thanks for reading!Edited to add: if you have powerful GMRS walkies please don't use them in short close range with these, I've found they get damaged and the mic pickup becomes poor. (My daughter was having fun messing with mine). They are also not friendly getting wet! If you need a more powerful compact walkie, hunt the KSUN M6 model

Other families hear you on the same channel
Works great and rechargeable a plus. But downfall is if a family I’m guessing nearby you has exact same thing and on same channel as you, not safe for your family. More than one channel yes but with multiple families having this set and on any channel they can hear everything we’re saying I don’t like that.

Great!
I have only had them for about a week but here are some pros and cons.ProsKids have had endless fun with them. I bought the 4 pack everyone gets one.ConsI charged them prior to gifting them...and I was scared by someone talking. I did not turn then on, I guess it was automatic with a charge. I did switch stations and turn them off.Kind-of scary that even with a station change I still had a lot of interfence from othe people well children..which is not safe.I turned them off when not in use so battery is still good from original charge. Children were excited but I will have to monitor there use just to make sure there are no creeps. I do still recommend.

Kids walkie talkies
I liked that they where small, easyfor little hands . The radio and voice sounds where clear easy to hear. Fault the images are hard to see to operate. You also have to hold the on and off button along time to power on and off. Overall cute and works well
