Out of the box, simple to set up. I printed a lot of REDDIT information explaining how to work around setup issues - but did not need any of it. Plugged it in, fired it up and followed the prompts. No challenges whatsoever. Purchased to use to rip my extensive DVD collection for posting on my personal PLEX server. It has a very capable processor, reasonable video GPU and excellent connectivity. I plugged in 4 USB DVD drives and was successful in quickly, repeatedly ripping 4 DVDs concurrently with hardware acceleration. I now have ready access to my extensive DVD library and the disks can be safely placed in storage in case of future need (or proof of licensing). The PC is delightfully small, fast to boot, supports dual monitors, has great memory and comes with Windows 11 Pro. It has been running cool and quiet. After a month of heavy use, I can recommend it.

Quick shipment. Only a few things to plug in. Stared right up. Seems fast. Wireless networking was easy to configure and seems stable and consistent. OS functions as-advertised. Great looking little PC gives the impression it was pricier than it was… when you even see it. Form factors as SO small now, it’s wonderful. Quiet fan even when pushed hard.

I love the beelink brand and this AMD variant is no acception. The performance of windows 11 is great and the size is perfect for saving space on a desk. It connects to dual monitors which us also great and plays slightly older (and some newer games ) no problem. Steam and GOG games run great. I was surprised that both DOOM eternal and Skyrim/Fallout 4 run so well on the system. The AMD Radeon Graphics works well for older games like the borderlands franchise as well. Both Minecraft Java and Bedrock run seamlessly as well as some of valves older titles like the half life games. No overheating or slowdown at all. My only complaint is the suspicious beelink administration account that seems to be pre installed on the operating system which can be removed if you just clean install windows 11 or Linux. The price tag comlared to other SER5 machines is also great and the 16GB of DDR4 Is snappy (if not a bit outdated at this point.

This was a great upgrade to my eleven year desk top set up. Windows 11 had two programs installed in addition to a windows and was mostly a clean installation of windows compared to other OEM's. After ensuring the windows partition worked, I did install Fedora Linux and had zero issues with the bios in dual booting both operating systems. The computer itself is extremely quiet and cool when running some light gaming on Steam, with great graphics quality for a small desktop without a dedicated graphics cards. Build quality is solid, doesn't use a ton of power or space, and looks nice. Unless you are into high end gaming, video editing 4k, or running local AI models, this more than enough computing power at a great price.

I purchased this mini PC on a lark after reading a review on PCWorld back in early October 2023. The review is highly favorable and this seemed to be a good option to replace my extremely noisy Intel NUC11PAHi7 system (with 11th gen Intel processor). The NUC was noisy from day 1 even when performing non-intensive tasks like browsing the web and launching applications, the NUC has been a source of disappointment from day one considering it cost nearly $1000 with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. In any event, initial setup for the Beelink was quick and easy and the system does indeed come with a Windows 11 Pro digital license (more on that in a moment). The case is mostly plastic but is well constructed and feels sturdy. Port selection is decent and comparable with other mini PCs. NOTE: the USB-A ports feel a bit "cheap" meaning flimsy, but it's not a deal breaker. Also, the white light on the power button is a bit bright, which may put some off, but it's absolutely minor and could be covered if need be. I ran the system through basic tests and I was very pleased to learn it performs on par with the NUC and most importantly, it does so VERY QUIETLY! After a week of testing various scenarios (not gaming) I decided to swap in the 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD from the NUC - that process went smoothly as well, the case is easy to open and everything inside is easily accessible. In the process of reinstalling Windows, I tweaked a few BIOS settings to my liking (for example, changed the graphics RAM allocation from 3GB of RAM to 2GB and changed the UEFI setting from custom to standard), no issues there either. The Beelink site itself is terrible if you're searching for drivers, this model isn't even listed on their support site. If you reinstall and need drivers, head over to the AMD site - the auto-update application will pull what you need for chipset and graphics drivers. The only issue after updating the components and reinstalling Windows is the system no longer recognized the Windows 11 Pro digital license - I could have popped the original SSD back in and run a Windows key extraction tool, but it was faster to purchase a $40 Windows 11 Pro license online. All in all, this system is capable, quiet and a joy to use. Definitely recommend! **UPDATE 12/9/2023** I decided to migrate my original Beelink SER5 in this review to be my Plex server connected to my home theater setup (LG OLED and Sonos Arc) - I added a 2TB SATA internal drive without issue to begin storing my DVD collection. It has been performing admirably in this new role. In any event, l purchased a Beelink SER5 MAX to replace it - the first one I received was extremely noisy as it was overheating and throttling badly. Amazon replaced it quickly and while the second SER5 MAX wasn't overheating the CPU fan was still VERY noisy when performing basic tasks like web browsing and opening apps, it was a huge disappointment after the positive experience with this model. I wound up purchasing this model again and returned the SER5 MAX for good. I am happy to report the same good things as the first one - it's quiet and very capable with day-to-day computing tasks. Highly recommend!

Excellent computer with known design flaws. Knocks my gaming tower out of the ballpark. Had trouble updating Windows, so I put Fedora Linux and it works beautifully. It is very quiet as long as you're not sitting immediately in front of it. It could use more USB 4 ports. Haven't tried Bluetooth. Known issues: poor Wi-Fi range (mine isn't terrible), surprisingly slow front USB-C port)

The mini PC is neat, easy to install, and a great improvement over my old PC. Product was delivered in a week, well ahead of the estimated delivery date.

كنت متخوفة من فكرة جهاز صغير يقوم مقام هذاك الصندوق الكبير اللي مليان بالأسلاك والمراوح واللي يأخذ حيز كبير بالمكان ويجمع غبار بيومين لكن قلت البرهان بالتجربة ، على الرغم أني مريت بالكثير من التردد خصوصا أني مو ذاك الخبرة بالأجهزة ف استشرت اخوي (وانا متأكده انك ياللي تقرأ تعليقي مريت باللي مريت به انا) قال انه م ينصح به وأنه لايمكن ان يقوم مقام البي سي وأنه اقرب للعبة أطفال وم يصلح إلا لمنصة مدرستي وبصراحة تهت بين المراجعات عنه في اليوتيوب وناس تمدح وناس تذم ، بس كانت مواصفاته المكتوبه نفس م أبي وبالسعر اللي أبي هذا اللي خلاني اصمل وأشتريه ، الخلاصة : بعد تجربة شهرين وزياده كنت شابكته على شاشة غرفة المعيشة شاشة كبيره اول م استخدمته عشان المسلسلات واليوتيوب ف كان فيه تعليق اول م افتح مقطع باليوتيوب بعدين يمشي عادي لكن ازعجني على الرغم انه بس اول المقطع بعدين خلاص يروح بس كان مزعج ف بعدين اكتشفت انه من الشاشه مو من الكمبيوتر قلت عشان م اظلمه بشبكه على شاشة ألعاب وبالفعل كان جبار مافي تعليق شغال بشكل سلس لكن فيه عيب واحد وعيب خطير قدرت أتفاداه الا وهو الحرارة ، الجهاز يسخن بشكل مو طبيعي مع انه مفتح من كان الجوانب إلا انه كان حار ولما كنت أتابع مراجعات عنه فيه ناس يقولون انه فجاه توقف عن العمل ولما صار عندي الجهاز عرفت السبب الحراره ممكن تذوب اي قطعه داخله ف طبيعي بيتوقف عن العمل ف كان الحل أني جبت مروحة بحجمه كقاعده له رفعته عن سطح الطاولة وحلت المشكلة الحمدلله صار م يسخن ، بالنسبة لأداء الجهاز انا كمستخدم خفيف إلى متوسط واغلب استخدامي له مسلسلات والبعض من الألعاب كان ممتاز جربت فيه بعض الألعاب كإختبار ونجح ماشاء الله مافي تعليق او تقطيع مع العلم أني م زودت الرام على فكره الجهاز زي م اشتريته ممكن أزود رام بعدين لكن في الوقت الحالي أشوف انه مؤدي الغرض ، لعبت فيه ماين كرافت وألعاب سيارات ومحاكيات وحطيت كل شي على ميديم والبعض هاي والأمور تمام الحمدلله مع المروحة الأمور تحت السيطرة ، إذا تبي ميني بي سي مواصفاته عاليه ويهمك الألعاب بشكل أساسي ف م أنصحك فيه الجهاز ماراح يتحمل ، اماً إذا كنت تبي شي للعمل والمسلسلات مشي أساسي والألعاب شي جانبي تستمتع فيها من وقت لوقت فهذا خيارك الأمثل ولا يأخذ حيز بالمكان حتى مع اضافة المروحة اللي كانت كبر الجهاز بالضبط لكن تأكد من شاشتك ، أنا أخذت شاشة من يوبيرفكت محمولة 18 إنش 2K و 144هرتز ف كانت افضل من شاشة غرفة المعيشة بمرااااحل ، ومن عيوب الكمبيوتر بعد المداخل قليلة لكن وصله حلت المشكلة، اعتذر عن الاطالة واتمنى أكون أفدتك بالتوفيق
