It is fully colored, and about 300 pages of no fluff, no nonsense discussions ranging from the elemental spirits, to time and date specific rituals, mantras, mandalas, names of spirits, festivals, ritual instruments and so, SO much more.Worth every penny, Bhola is truly pushing to preserve Nepalese shamanism in an authentic way while also opening the door for future spiritual practitioners to make their own spiritual journeys.

If anyone is interested in long-lineage traditional shamanism, it can be a good book to start with and for any deeper work at an experiential level the writer is ready to help.Recommended

I have taken many in-person as well as Zoom classes with the amazing Bhola Banstola and loved every one of them. This book is packed with many Nepalese Shamanism ceremonies and rituals. It is a true treasure. The photos are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in any type of shamanism. This book is a treasure for exposing indigenous Nepali spiritual practices to the ‘West’. It is written by an authentic teacher with deep roots and understanding. An additional book I would recommend for those interested is “Shamanism and Tantra in the Himalayas”.

This book is well written and the best book written on jankri shamanism by a traditional many generations and genuine shaman. It has clear and concise instructions on ceremony with lovely full color detailed photos. Absolutely the most important book on shamanism in the entire field. If you are thinking of purchasing do not hesitate!
