I haven't worn a watch for over a dozen years. After working on trails this winter I'm rethinking that. I've been finding myself too covered with mud to reach into my pocket and find the time on my phone. So I don't know when it is lunch time, or time to call it a day and hike out. That is prompting checking out possibilities of a new timepiece.I ordered this watch as a trial, primarily because it was inexpensive and waterproof (required). It performs the function of providing the time, but I have a hard time wearing it. Much of that may be because I'm not accustomed to wearing a watch these days. It seems that watches overall have increased in size the last number of years. This watch is about half again the size of my last watch. That is a problem for me. What did in my last watch was having it ripped of my wrist by it getting snagged on something trying to reach into a car engine compartment. I don't need a watch that is larger and sticks out even more--one that's going to be snagging on brush and generally getting in the way.I did find it was uncomfortable not just because of the size, but the back has a fairly sharp edge on it that would be much more comfortable if it were significantly rounded.As a watch, it seems to fulfill all the appropriate expectations for most. I just don't find it is the correct timepiece for my needs.

After years of using cheap watches with standard features this offers a few nice updates. It has dual time-zones and an easy way to switch a DST offset. You can cycle through modes including stopwatch, alarm, time, and the secondary time. Entering the programming mode requires holding down a different button than expected but otherwise I like everything about the watch.

So at first glance this watch looks simple and bland, but for the price it's anything but! Available in an assortment of colors, this watch can track time both in 12 hour intervals or 24, track date, and is waterproof able to resist 50 m of water. I literally sat under the faucet for 10 minutes and nothing happened to it. That being said, while very good at what it's for its not very appealing to the eye. The screen is way too big and the led light barely turns on for 1 sec at a time forcing you to push it multiple times. These concerns are few and far between though and in my opinion, the quality of the product even at that cheap price, greatly outweighs the cons.

There is no way to set the day of the week. Instructions say it does it automatically so there is no way to correct it. The watch is a day off. I would send it back but tossed the box unfortunately. If not for that I would rate it 5 stars. Simple to use which is what I needed for my husband.Sending it back. I actutally wrote company and they sent an automated response about setting the watch. I wrote back and explained it had to have been on a shelf for over a year becasue it has the wrong day of the week and have not recieved any response. Disappointed!

Straightforward instructions for use. Was able to set the time and confirm that the stopwatch worked without any trouble.It has a couple features which you don't see often --- the ability to count down rather than up (it's a pain to set the time you count down from, so I'd just run the stopwatch if I needed a kitchen timer), and the ability to keep the time in two different time zones (sounds like a great idea on paper - I have a feeling it's easy to accidentally look at the wrong one and not know it.)Timekeeping is adequate, for a cheap watch. Mine lost 4 seconds in 5 days.I am glad it has a backlight for night use. I do think that in a moderately dim environment you are just stuck, though - the black too dark to read, and the blue glow too dim to see.

The watch was easy enough to set and it's definitely water resistant. My biggest complaint is how easily the face of the watch scratches. I removed the plastic protective sticker cover only to look at the watch face a few minutes later and already see scratches. This was just normal wear/use. I'm still pleased with it for use while hiking or caving but the watch face seems a bit cheap.
