![The Final Countdown 30th Anniversary Show - Live at the Roundhouse [2018]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81e8RCDKIlL.jpg)

Swedish rock ‘n’ roll legends, Europe, will share their unique 30th Anniversary performance of The Final Countdown from London’s legendary Roundhouse. The Final Countdown 30th Anniversary Show - Live at the Roundhouse celebrates the multi-platinum album’s triple decade success. The band played the album in its sequential entirety during a series of selected cities in 2016, with London’s most historically venerated venue playing host to an exceptionally special night on November 12th 2016. Preceding the landmark event, fans were also treated to a live performance of Europe’s latest album War of Kings, a release which re-established Europe as one of the top classic rock bands in the world. This has 2 Audio CD and one Blu-Ray and totally making it 3 discs. Review: Brilliant concert! - The band perform both of these classic albums superbly. Would have loved to have been there but Blu-ray is a great consolation. Review: A fine package. - As a fan of Europe going on half my life now, I won't deny that I have a big dislike for the album The Final Countdown. To this day, I have always felt that it is easily the bands worst album. It is bogged down by one too many poor songs for it to really stand out and the albums that followed it were vastly superior. Roll on thirty years and Europe have not only re-recorded the album, but they did it live at The Roundhouse. The Final Countdown 30th Anniversary Show now only features their now "legendary" '80s heavy metal album played in full. But it also features a full play through of their then new album, War of Kings. Unlike The Final Countdown, War of Kings is without a doubt an album I love. The love the heavier sound and the Deep Purple style groove found through out the album. It is great to hear the band play it live. The recordings don't sound as stiff as it did in the studio and it really shows how good the group can be in the live setting. But to give credit where it is due, their performance of The Final Countdown album is not just good but it is great. Europe still have a lot of energy and passion inside them and it really helps bring out the best of the albums music. Sure the songs may not be their best, but the thunderous sound and love the group have for it kind of makes up for it a bit. I wouldn't personally call it an essential live release. But it is a really good one, especially considering the double CD performance comes alongside the filmed DVD film. It is a fine package to be had and I have no doubts that fans of Europe will have a great time with The Final Countdown 30th Anniversary Show.

Must for music fans.
Great cd/dvd, I was at this gig and it's great when you get to see yourself on dvd, one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Lots of energy, great songs and musically spot on. Joey does a great job with vocals not easy to keep going for a solid 2 hours and still sound great as do the rest of the band.

Pretty good!
First of all: hats off to Joey Tempest. This guy really means business. He really works hard for your money. No free loaders like many -many - musicians these days that just dial it in. It does not seem to matter if this guy is performing in a small club or Wembley Arena...he really brings it on and I really appreciate that for what is worth. I saw them in NYC a couple of years ago performing in a small venue and he was performing for everyone like if he was in a full house stadium. So kudos to him. The concert and audio are very very good. Love the sound and image quality. Any Europe fan will love this one and any curious casual Europe fan or classic rock fan will definitely enjoy the whole WOK and TFC set. I was not a big fan of WOK but I definitely think performing the whole album was a great idea! I really enjoy the album much more now. It is a grower! TFC is such a classic album and gem in my chest of memories. I am very content they released the whole album and recreated the songs with a new fresher angle. The only minus point for me was that John Norum just refuses to play classic John Norum. The guitar solos in TFC album are classic gems! Really timeless pieces of art and John just will not play most of them as they were originally!.First three tracks are incredible but when you get to Danger on the Track you hear that tragically most of the solos go out of the window. I do not understand why the band would celebrate and take us "down to memory lane" and have us hear a guitar solo no one has ever heard before and leave out those amazing classic gems. Even Ian did an awesome job recreating the original drum fills in the most part! Thing that he typically does not do on other gigs. So this may be the only thing I was not satisfied with. Audio and concert are SUPER! You do get your money's worth!

I Was There
A great package, and a fantastic souvenir of a great show. I will not tell you where, but there is one clear shot of me on the DVD/Blu-Ray. If you were there then it is almost definitely worth buying; if not, then you can see what you missed.

I attended this gig which was great , but must write my first negative music review here today. This film seems to have been made by a novice with little in the way of evidence that it is of the high standard that tis bands Live in Sweden or Unplugged films achieved. The film tends to jump to quickly from one scene to the next which I found annoying , and overall it looked very dark and gloomy. I own all of Europes CD'd and concert films on either Dvd or Blu ray , and after 3 plays now have learnt to accept the poor film editing/direction and just appreciate the two albums played in their entirety with 5.1 sound.

I was lucky enough to see the opening night of this tour in Stockholm on 8th November 2016 (The Greatest Day in Modern History) and this is a great reminders of the show. The Blu-ray is well shot and has excellent sound,War of Kings might Be Europe’s best album ever (every song is excellent) and The Final Countdown was an excellent 30th Anniversary experience.”Somebody sold us down the river for sure, but the days of rock n roll live on”.Europe was great this night and America back on the path to greatness.
