Paths on the Tree of Wisdom: A Course in 21st Century Kabbalah

Previous to reading this book, I knew nothing about the Kabbalah and its mystical tradition--only that it existed. This was a fascinating read and introduction to the Kabbalah with regular meditation exercises included. It is a worthy read of anyone navigating their spiritual journey, regardless of what path they're on.

Readable book on a complicated subject.

I bought Mike's book because I wanted to learn more about the paths on the Tree of Life. I have studied in the Toledano Tradition for more than 30 years now and already knew that Mike was a fine teacher of Kabbalah. I found the book to be very clear. As English isn't Mike's first language, I wondered if that might limit the flow but, in fact, the opposite. I found his vocabulary fascinating as he put a lot of what I already knew about the sefirot in comparable words which opened new doors to new light.You know how you can understand something but be really comfortable in how you refer to it so that it becomes very everyday? Reading this was like having fresh air and scent blowing into my mind.However, I have only given the book four stars because the title is SO misleading. There are only two paragraphs about the paths on the tree of life! So that was rather disappointing but then, I might not have bought it if the title had been clearer...Please Mike, make your next book about the paths on the tree of life and I will buy it.
