Our Dogs Don't Like These!
As I said on the Pork Chomps Mini Twistz Pepperoni...I don't hate it (hence one star), but the dogs seem to hate it. This one (Pork Chomps Mini Twistz Chicken) got the same reaction as the pepperoni...Both dogs gave it one sniff and walked away. (They are just as precious as can be! Picture two of the cutest little pups you have ever seen.) I offered them one right after the other because it was treat time, so if they didn't like the first one, I had the other one close by for back-up. Then, after they gave the second one (this one, the chicken) a sniff & walked away, in unison they took about two steps away from me, turned around, sat down side-by-side and gave me that sad eye look. I told them I just gave them each two treats and they need to pick one. I offered them to the dogs again. They wouldn't budge. They just looked up at me with those sad eyes asking for a different treat. So I went down the hall to see if I could find something else for them. I found something different and they took that. The two Pork Chomps treats I offered each of them just layed on the floor in the exact spot until I picked them up. I would move them around, put them with the other partially chewed up sticks and occasionally I would offer them the Pork Chomps. I thought maybe they might have to learn to like them. Nothing! I got nothing! After about a month of trying to get the dogs to eat these, I finally gave up and threw the ones I tried to give them in the garbage. Now with all of that being said, I don't want to put a sour taste in your mouth. My two dogs are sometimes pretty picky when it comes to food and treats. If you have a dog that is picky, well, maybe this is the kind of treat they like. And if your dogs are not picky eaters, better yet because from what I have read, it seems these are suppose to be better for your dog than other sticks. Just because we did not have a very good experience with these, it doesn't mean you will have the same experience.

My dogs go bonkers for these things
My dogs know a handful of words... potty... popcorn... birds... and Pork Chomps. People laugh when I say that, but my dogs love these things. I trained my Pit mix to come back inside with the promise of Pork Chomps, so each morning after potty time, he trounces in the house and goes straight to the bin where I keep the Pork Chomps. In fact, they're the only thing that can reliably convince him to come inside... if it's a choice between barking at the UPS man, or getting his treats, he'll choose the treat. My Great Dane mix will tell me it's Pork Chomp time in the evening by walking up to me and grumbling. If I don't respond she'll growl at me (playfully) and then start barking. I've created (adorable) monsters... but I feel comfortable giving these to them. Hell, even Jack Hanna endorses them.I usually get these from Tractor Supply Company, but the price is about the same and this saves me a trip into town.

Eh.
My dog chews these. Keep in mind, my dog also chews sticks, her own toes, socks, and used Kleenex. So the bar is not very high.Honestly I hesitated to give these to her. When I opened the pack, I smelled a distinct and unmistakable "rancid oil" smell. It was clear they had used sub-par canola or vegetable oil as a stabilizer and somewhere along the way, Amazon received a very old batch. The pack was sealed, and looked like the image online. I'm used to the large Pork Chomp rolls, with nice chicken-looking chicken. This stuff was crumbling and bright red and clearly fake. HOWEVER, they did not seem otherwise expired and my dog ripped one right out of my hand so I guess she doesn't mind. I, however, do mind. I will not be purchasing this product again, unless I find it in a pet store and it looks significantly fresher than the image online here.

Didn't realize how small they were
It's my fault for not recognizing the size I was ordering. I usually get this same brand at Petsmart and my dog loves it. Although, with these I found the chicken-bacon particles clinging to my dogs fur on his paws. It doesn't stain, but some how my dog managed to get those crumbly pieces stuck in his fur. He's a briard so maybe this isn't a problem with short haired dogs, but the crumbs can be a nuisance. Overall, he loved the taste and it's still one of his favorites. I would recommend the bigger version for a bigger dog though.

great product for dogs
My dogs love this product. This time the first bag I open all the good crusty outer later was broken off. If you ask Dallas and Brody that is the best part.

Not as well-enjoyed as the drumsticks.
My dogs ate these - but did not "relish" them as much as they did the mini-drumsticks of the same brand. Won't be getting these again. If your dog is not picky - they'd probably like them. It's a better buy.

Easy to digest
I got these pork chomps for our dogs...there is no rawhide in these chews...therefore they don't choke on these treats... Easy to digest... Mainly used for a treat not food .. They work well for our dogs...rawhide was not a very good treat.. Constipated our dogs & they would gag & try to get their breath... A little scary ..

Dog Wonโt Eat
I canโt get my dog to eat these. He eats most everything but there is something about these that he will not touch. Just turns his nose up to them.
