Gymnic Rody Bounce Horse Red

I bought this many years ago and never reviewed, but this is an amazing toy! My daughter had it for probably 7 years, and then it got passed on to other kids. It held up great and was easy to clean, never had a puncture even with all the years of use.

Our physically maniacial 2 year old daughter got this for Christmas. After a few bumps and bruises, she's a pro. It looks so much fun that I would actually like to sit on it. Even our relatively small 7 1/2 year old loves Rody. One problem we face is the Rody World War when one wants to use it and the other has it, so perhaps you would be wise to have two if that is applicable. Our 7 1/2 year old daughter has actually asked for the Rody Max which is supposed to withstand heavier children. They beat the heck out of the poor guy, but he faithfully bounces them all over the place. I am impressed with how much abuse it has taken. They use his ears as controllers. Let's not discuss what they jammed in its inflation hole area and why they did it. We used our own bicycle tire pump with the adapter that came with Rody to add air. We have primarily used Rody indoors as we live in a snowy place. I've got visions of a projectile 2 year old if it hits a patch of ice. Rody has encouraged races and Olympic-type games. It gets a bit grimy (what does that say for my house?) after being bopped around for a few weeks, but some spray cleaner will handle that. Definitely a good toy to buy. Durable, fun, and helps them burn off their energy.

We bought this for our 19 month-old daughter for Christmas this year. She loves to bounce, so I specifically looked for a toy that would allow her to bounce like the wild thing that she is. Rody is perfect!! We bought the base that allows her to use it as a rocking toy as well. She can still bounce on it with the rocker attached, so she gets twice as much fun out of one toy. I read in other reviews about Rody tipping over when not using the rocker - she only used it without the rocker for a few minutes and did tip over, but that was part of the fun for her. We put the rocker on to see what it was like and ended up just leaving it on since she can still bounce on it with the rocker attached. Note - you have to add/remove the rocker while Rody is deflated. Rody is made out of a super-thick rubber material, so it appears to be very durable. The rocking base (sold separately) is very sturdy too. This is already one of her favorite Christmas toys!! I love seeing how much fun she has playing with Rody - very satisfying purchase!

It’s very cute and grandson loves it. I did order a RED one but received a BLUE one. Luckily it’s for a boy so it worked out fine.

Bought it as a gift - my daughter got one for her 1st bday and we got so many years out of it. Definitely a little advanced for a 1 yr old because they fall off easily but highly recommend! Best gift

We get a Rody for every kid in the family, so when this one turned two… Rody! I think it says for 3 and up, but it’sa good size for the 2-yr-old, and he’s strong enough, for sure. Rody seems to help with balance and coordination because it bounces pretty well, and they have to learn to pull the ears up while jumping. The exercise is great for kids, and it’s just plain fun! Best of all? Not one screen is involved. Rody is a well-made, well-designed toy that I hope we’ll be able to give to the next generations.

My 2 year old first played with Rody Horse at my cousins home and it was love at first site. We bought her one for her birthday and she was all smiles. She loves to bounce away on her Rody Horse. It's a great toy to work the core which helps with balance and it's great to see her be able to balance better & better on the horse every time she's on it. She is under the recommended age limit by a year but as long as she's not near something that she could fall & hit her head on if she really gets over bouncy then she's fine. He's a great addition to the toy area and it will be enjoyed for many many years. If you have a regular bike pump at home you do not need to buy the additional pump to inflate the product. You are provided with 2 stoppers (1 comes inserted in the product) and an adapter for a pump. I was able to blow it up faster manually (mouth to plug) and then use a bike pump to firm it up.

These rodys take a beating here! On an acreage they've been hauled all over, bounced on gravel, left in snow, virtually indestructible. Worth the money for active kids!
