Works great!!
These worked perfect for my cinematic Bose speakers, I’m able to move and adjust them to where I need. I I hung them from my ceiling, and they look great. They sent multiple ways that I could mount them so no matter whatever I needed they would work. They were very easy to set up and hang, and I would say they are well worth it.

All Metal-Sturdy-Will Need to Make Some Adjustments
I purchased other speaker mounts on Amazon about a year ago. They were about $5 cheaper (price was not the primary factor in buying mounts, but I wasn't going to spend more than $50 if possible). I installed the ones bought previously and was happy with them for a while. But then the plastic adjustment mechanism began to lose it's ability to be fully tightened and as a result the speakers sagged and would not stay in the position I wanted them in.So I purchased these Borenbuir mounts due to the ratings and the fact that they are metal. These mounts are very good. Very sturdy and well engineered. Everything works as it should.Word of caution. No matter what mounts you buy, expect to have to do some tinkering. It is very likely that you will find yourself having to make a trip to Lowes to get some other hardware to customize the mounts so that they attach to your speakers in a way that is desirable to you. You may need another size screw and/or washers etc. so that you can attach the mount plate to your specific speakers. Lowes (or Home Depot or Menards or your local hardware store) will likely have everything you will need to get these mounts to work for your application. There is no universal mount that will fit every speaker/installation scenario. For my install, I needed small washers, plastic spacers and screws that were the length and size that were appropriate to mount my speakers to the mounting plate.Once I was done tinkering, I got them configured to my liking and attached them to the wall. The result is outstanding. They enable me to have the speakers mounted to the wall, clearing desk space clutter and they are easily adjusted. Because they are all metal (except for the tightening knob), they are very sturdy and I am optimistic that they will be around longer than I will.I feel the price/value is very good. If you are up for tinkering to get them to work for your specific application, I think you too will be happy with these mounts.

Durable and Easy to Install
These are very durable and well-made. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so I'm not sure why others experienced difficulty with these. Mine are mounted in brick on my back patio, and it was really no trouble at all.

A challenge to a seasoned Home Theater Hobbyist
Installing these speaker mounts took over three hours. Maybe it was me. Maybe it's the product. I know they leave out steps such as removing the tensioning screws that hold the latched cylinders in place. These latched cylinders are VERY effective. So effective, they are difficult to move into position. I got so fed up on the second one I used a hammer to force the keyhole attachment into the desired position. Loosened then tightened down two arms that go around the ratchet clamp. The cloven screw head that held these parts into position was easy enough to disassemble but when you have to do it for both... it gets maddeningly tedious. I didn't want to do any of this. THANKFULLY, I was able to get these things into position, tighten everything down and give it a test. I have a number of things on the shelf above where these are installed and have to run the "at volume" scenario. Only a couple of things fell off but fewer than before with the old set.If you do not have the patience, like I barely did, I recommend sending them back and trying something else. Don't beat yourself up trying to make these work. I nearly threw my hammer at the wall. Now, if you CAN get them up and mounted, you will find it is totally worth it. My speakers are now positioned properly, have better imaging, they aren't sagging like the last set allowed, but still - it was a pain. This seems to be holding these speakers fast and in place. When I say better, that includes the stereo imaging and bass response. With speakers this small, you have to be realistic. Regardless, these speakers were putting out quite a bit. To me, getting everything into place and making sure it worked was worth it. These are very nice speakers for their intended purpose. If you have speakers that you want to sound the absolute best for a computer setup and have to get creative with a setup, give these a try. You might get a headache but if it's between that and leaving a nice set of speakers on the ground, you do what you have to in order to make them sound the best.P.S. Pardon the mess. Had to bring up the highlight value to get the speakers visible.
