I ordered this not because I had a child who is going to take 11+ exam. I found it useful for any student from year 6 to build up their vocabulary. The packaging box contains 200 flashcards which are thick and smooth. One side is a word printed in orange colour, and the other side is the most important information about this word, eg. the part of speech, the meaning, example sentences, synonyms and antonyms, which help you to have an overall picture of this word. There is also enough blank space on the card to write down your own notes about this word. Flashcards are not only very useful for kids to study independently, but also very handy for parents to test their kids. The only downside about this product is the packaging box which was not sturdy and easily collapsed, which made it not an ideal storage box for these cards. I am using 4 big binder clips to keep the loose flashcards securely fastened together.
