A tree fell through my windshield and cracked the top of my dashboard, leaving an ugly gaping hole. Thankfully after replacing my window, the car is fine but there's this hideous hole allowing a fine view of the guts and gore of the car. To save a significant amount of money, I thought of slapping on a giant mousepad and when I searched for one on amazon, one thing led to the next and I found this item. It's the perfect solution for my issue. Just one thing bothers me: it doesn't adhere so well so it does slip downhill a little. I plan to fix it by using some glue dots. Hopefully that will do the job. But at least it looks great!

I wish I could give zero stars. Not only does it not hold anything on top of the map, but it slides off the dashboard as well. This was a complete waste of my money & the company should offer a refund.

I bought this to cover an area of my dash that showed a small crack and it functioned week but I. Our 100 plus degree weather it eventually didn’t lay flat

A couple of years ago I bought a size-specific mat for my car and it was the best, saving the inset area around my in-dash screen from scratches. So I was shocked when I couldn't find one that was specific to my new baby's year and model. Reading through approximately 463 listings, I took a chance since this was "close enough" in size and shape, didn't require glue or velcro to stay in place, and per the listing it can be cut to fit easily enough. Really? Challenge accepted! Shipping was speedy and the mat was as I expected - too long and too square for the oblong inset in my dash, but I really liked that it's thin, doesn't slide around (without using glue or velcro. So I went to town with scissors and cut the pad to the shape and size I want. Shocking but true, the listing was accurate- it cuts easily enough and looks original to my car. Good buy!

It's good quality. I put it on the dash and things stay on it even when I take a turn. I am happy with it.

It didn’t have the best “stickiness” on the back, so it doesn’t grip as well, more like a rubber mat, but the texture (top) is almost identical to the dash and is “matte” which is important for safety (ie. doesn’t cause glare on windshield when sun is shining). The issue I had with the “grip” on dashboard was quickly resolved by the seller, so although I didn’t end up keeping the item, customer service was excellent.

Good option for a slippery dashboard, sunglasses and other small objects stay within reach a lot better.
