Always been a fan of J-B Weld. Others seem just as good most of the time, but have stuck with what I know. I like the syringe applicator and much less messy than the squeeze tubes. If mixed good and surface prepared and cleaned this always seems to hold and work long term. Easy to use and durable. For the money it isn't the cheapest, but you always know what you are getting.

JB Weld are trying to charge import duty on top of the listed price. It doesn't say anything on the product details that this is due on top of the purchase price. Someone there is getting mixed up about this one.

Let me preface: I work as a QA/QM/QC engineer with hard state electronics, I am self-taught in how to do electrical work (house wiring) and also self taught in the use of machine shop equipment (drill presses, lathes, so on and so on). Part of my work is also with "potting" compounds, that is, encapsulating the industrial electronic piece in various lacquers, fiber glass resins, high thermal condustivity and high dielectric strength epoxies. Suffice to say, I know what I am talking about. AB is on par with these industrial grade "potting" compounds. There is a faucet in my house that has that stupid design where the handle is on a stem that is held in place with a set screw (a screw with no head). After repeated usage it came undone. The valve still works but the handle did not stay in place. So I used this AB product to back fill the orifice in to which the valve stem was inserted and then cranked a flat head screw in to the port for which the set screw was intended. It's been in service since then with ZERO FAILURE for several years, and the hand is solidly held in place, there is no slop in the handle's movement. It's "welded" in place by the back fill with the JB weld and the screw which held it in place until the JB weld putty set. There is another faucet which was a much more complicated fix, so I won't describe that one. All one needs to know is with JB weld and ingenuity I made the handle effectively shatter proof, you can slap the handle down with a thunk and it will not come undone.
